Reviews for Andiamo! in Santa Fe, NM
This quiet little gem is tucked away on a side street and is easy to miss. But once you’re inside, it’s got great ambiance.... It’s got a come in and relax type of vibe. The soup of the day was roasted corn and it was superb. Just the right balancebetween sweet and savory. The chicken parmesan and spaghetti was excellent. I was a bit wary at first as it’s a huge portionand some restaurants try to make up for lack flavor with bigger quantities. That was definitely not the case here. The sauce wasdifferent than what I’m used to and the change was welcome. The chocolate custard is homemade and was amazing. Be warned,it’s small but suuuuper rich and decadent. And the service throughout was top notch. Definitely recommend this place when youwant a break from all the great Mexican food in the immediate area. Read more
Lovely dining with consistently excellent food. This is the third time we have eaten there and plan to return. As I was raised... in an Italian household, it is a treat to find a restaurant with beautifully prepared Italian food. The night we dined, wasvery busy but we were accommodated on their patio. Understandably, the service was a little slow. Also, we ordered an appetizerof crusty bread which would have been better served if warmed. Otherwise, the food was 5 star. On our next trip through Santa Fewe will try again! Read more
Could have been a five star - but for two things. First, the food was very good. We had the crispy polenta to start and it was... very tasty. Salads were nicely dressed, fresh ingredients. Entrees were filling and again, very well prepared. However, halfwaythrough service our server seemed to forget about us. She just disappeared after our entrees were dropped. We finished, then satand sat and sat, with dirty dishes and empty glasses in front of us. Dessert was the real disappointment of the evening though.See photos of the pannacotta with fresh fruit. Truly laughable dish. Should never have been sold/served if a slab of apple isthe best that can be offered here. Read more
Wonderful Italian cuisine with very good service. The soups are amazing and the polenta appetizer is a must. The penne with... house made lamb sausage was amazing. The trout was excellent and the vegetables that came with it were off the charts delicious! Read more
We made a reservation. When we arrived the host told us it’ll take about 30min to get our table. Bummer! But at the end we... waited maybe 5 min. The restaurant itself is actually way cozier than looks on the pictures. The light was dimmed and the chairsare comfortable. The food was great. Good sized portions. Tender meat. Pasta not overcooked. Service was good and wait time forfood was also absolutely reasonable. Read more
One of the most incredible meals I had in Santa Fe. The pasta is made from scratch, hand rolled and handled with great care. The... flavors danced on our taste buds. My only disappointment was discovering this gem so late in my time in Santa Fe. Read more
Lovely small boutique restaurant with great food. Got 2 pasta dishes that were fantastic, the pasta was cooked to perfection.... ???? You can tell they are using fresh local ingredients. Centrally located in Santa Fe with nearby parking. Has outdoor diningon nice days. Would have been 5 star, but the waiter kept disappearing, wanted to order more food to try. Will go back again forthe great pasta. Read more
This was our first time here and I am so glad we came across this hidden gem!! Our server was very friendly and welcoming! We... had the mozzarella and prosciutto for an appetizer with a hint of olive oil and capers. I had the sangiovese and it was great. They had a very good special.. but we were both drawn to the trout with the seasonal veggies (green beans, mushrooms, butternutsquash and sweet potatoes). It was prepared delightfully! The dessert was also delicious! The tiramisu had a great balance ofcocoa powder and sweet. The espresso complemented it very well! I hope we return to this delectable intimate setting! Read more
