We love the coffee, really looked forward to coming here, their pull apart buns are amazing, sadly the woman preparing our... lattes wiped her runny nose as she prepared the drinks. Covid can spread through saliva. Terrible hygiene here. The handsanitizer was right in front of her and she didn?t bother to use it. The coffee is delicious here. Props to the barista for adding just the right amount of mocha. I could still taste the coffee and... flavor. Most places would drawn mocha in chocolate but this has to be my favorite mocha drinks of all time. I bought a bag ofbeans to bring home and the barista were very helpful in providing recommendations. Read more

This spot is amazing. Whenever I am in Santa Cruz I drop by to get some tasty verve coffee and pick up some beans. The service... was excellent with the staff incredibly helpful! The crowd seems to be a mix of locals and students with ample parking.Definitely recommend. Thanks to baristas that recommended the Elida estate coffee recently. It was tasty! Read more
Verve got everything right. The cappuccino was exactly the right temperature with a very nice microfoam. No bitterness and not... overly milky. Aside from the coffee, the egg and cheese sandwich was also very nice. Verve also has self-serve water and a nicebathroom. These are all nice additions to getting the espresso drinks absolutely perfect. I also overheard that they have awhisky latte. Read more
