Great location just across the street from the start of the Boardwalk at Pacific Ave. Pleasant indoor and outdoor tables. Food... is good but not memorable. Reasonable prices, relatively inexpensive for the area. Some interesting beers. Service has alwaysbeen friendly Read more

Had a meatloaf sandwich to go and it was great. Also came at breakfast and tried a seasonal scone. Finally we also came to try... the ice cream and our group really enjoyed the pumpkin doodle. Read more

This is a great spot for lunch. The chicken pesto baguette was one of the best I've had. All the other sandwiches couldn't be... far behind. They've got ice cream as well. If you come to Santa Cruz, make sure this is part of your itinerary. Oh yeah, there'sa beach around here somewhere. It provides enough overflow for places to eat your Picnic Basket sandwich. Came in to get wifey a triple shot mocha. They have inside and outside seating and are located across the street from Santa Cruz... Beach Boardwalk volleyball courts. The service was ok but the prices for my white piece coffee was astronomical at over $7 for aCup of coffee that wife he described as meh. Nope I will never go back and nope I do not recommend. Coffee & food were fantastic! A little pricey but the woman cooking went out of her way to make me a deconstructed burrito with... GF toast. Lovely service and would definitely recommend. Read more

My third time eating here for lunch. The mac n cheese is home style. I probably would have enjoyed the bread crumb topping to be... a little crispier and a little more seasoned, and I would have liked a bolder cheesy flavor, but points for serving temp pipinghot, super creamy consistency, and good call on the oversized elbow mac noodle. The side salad was a $5 addition and a greatcompliment with toasted seeds, quality mixed greens and a super tasty dressing. I'll be back again. If you are deciding betweena toast/sandwich item and the mac n cheese, go for the toast/sandwich. The bread is from Companion Bakery and its the BEST thingever. Read more

Had sandwiches (with Almond butter jam) served with pickled carrots. They were so tasty that I felt like having more.
