I so used to love this place. For years. From just a year ago, the sandwich we used to get has more than doubled in price, going... from 16.95 to 36.95. The quality of the sandwich we got has also gone down (the flavor of crab was nowhere near as nice) and thesmoked salmon has also decreased in quality in just the few short years we've gone here. It's still a perfectly fine experience,but nowhere near the value or experience it used to be. If you've been a fan of here in the past, as much as it pains me to say,I'd look in to checking out another spot. I hope they figure it out soon, because they used to be such a huge part of ourvacation. Read more
It?s a nicely located food stop. We had the clam with fries and the coconut shrimp with fries. The clam had so much batter... around it that I could hardly taste the clam. Otherwise it was fine. The location and the back story is definitely the sellingpoint. Read more
Very disappointed in our visit today. We have been coming here since I was a little girl and this was always our go-to spot when... visiting the wharf. The past few years (5 or so) the flavors have been falling off but I keep coming back hoping for it to getbetter. Unfortunately todays trip leaves me with less hope. The clam chowder (not photographed) had no flavor and theconsistency felt like a frozen chowder that has been reheated multiple times. I couldn?t eat but a few bites. The crab, in boththe crab cocktail and the sandwich, was extremely salty and literally left a bad taste in my husband?s and my mouths. They arecurrently under construction for the restaurant so I?m giving an extra star in hopes that the reason for the quality and flavoris lack of their usual facilities, and I hope once they open back up fully that their original flavors will emerge. *FingersCrossed* Read more
A really popular and relatively affordable casual dining spot located on the long boardwalk. It?s manned by a number of friendly... workers but you?re kind of on your own after you?ve placed your order - they have outdoor dining so you need to find your ownseating and it can get quite crowded. You also have to wait in front of the counter so you?re there when your food is ready andthey call out your name. Not much method to the madness but given the good, fresh tasty food, one can bear this minordiscomfort. Coming to the food - They sell fresh seafood as well. The clam chowder is very popular and I checked with them toensure it didn?t contain pork. It is quite delicious and served with crunchy saltines. For around six dollars you get a decentportion size. With this I recommend getting the fresh fish tacos - these are 3 pretty large doubled up taco wraps with a goodmix of fresh pan fried fish, veggies, sauces and interestingly - apples! Have it with a squeeze of fresh lime and enjoy it withthe ocean view. Finally, try the fish burger - which is a fried fish filet in a sesame burger bun with onions, lettuce andtomatoe - the lettuce looked a bit old but remove it and add some hot sauce and you?re good to go. Shrimp tacos were bomb! Went around 10:30-11am and was able to get seating and had no wait yet at the counter. Staff was really... friendly with questions and suggestions! This was definitely my favorite restaurant spot on the pier. I had the shrimp tacosand they were super delicious and crispy! My mom had the tuna sandwich, which she said was good. We had a delicious late lunch of coconut prawns and fries, clam chowder bowl and 6 oysters on the half shell. The indoor seating... is still closed so we opted to sit out on the pier and watch some sea animals out and about under the pier. The fries and prawnswere cooked perfectly and the chowder was definitely award winning. To top it off the oysters were fresh and flavorful with thehomemade cocktail sauce. Highly recommend. Read more
