I?ve tried a lot of açaí (including in Brazil) and the texture of this one is just weird. It should have a smooth consistency,... not pieces of shaved ice. The service here was good and the wait times were short but I'm kind of disappointed in the quality of the food. Their marketing... leads one to believe that they are consuming some sort of "health food" when this is far from the case. I could tell that theirAcai is spiked with some sort of sweetener. On top of that, the "peanut butter" that my partner got was nothing like real peanutbutter. It tasted like a caramelized syrup that had a peanut butter base. This is one of my favorite places. Anytime I?m in the area I stop by. I am not one to leave terrible reviews but I had the worst... experience. I ordered a regular bowl and received a child?s bowl. When I mentioned the mix up, they took it back. No oneapologized but I thought no big deal. Mistakes happen. Not a minute later they handed it back to me. They did not add anyaçaí. They didn?t remake the order. They just threw it in a bigger bowl and added bananas. When I asked to speak the manager,the manager came over and aggressively grabbed the bowl from me and threw it away. They remade it for me but it was doneincorrectly as they didn?t pull up my order and just attempted to make it from memory. It tasted terrible. I understand mistakeshappen but there?s zero reason to be aggressive or rude. Read more
It was good! They didn?t blend my almond butter into the açaí bowl for some reason so I had to do it by hand, which obviously... didn?t work great with the cold açaí so it was super chunky But! Great post workout treat. Tastes too good to be healthy! The acai base comes with a number of options to mix in, like passion... fruit, banana, peanut butter, etc. There are then a number of set bowls to choose from with a variety of topping options, andother ways to customize your bowl. The pao de quiexo is also good, if you get there before they're all gone. Read more
Amazing! I've never had this style of meal before. The acai is a frozen blended base and you pick which fruits and flavors are... added to it. Filling and refreshing! I had the original. The medium size filled me up plenty. This was a delicious and healthyenergy boost that helped jumpstart my day! I highly recommend Samba Rock! Read more
Have been going here for years and it never disappoints. This time we got the Ayrton Senna ($12.90 regular) and the Mussum bowl... ($9.35 mini). If you're newer to açaí I'd recommend going for a base that's blended with peanut butter so that the açaídoesn't have as icy of a texture. They also have variations like almond butter if you prefer.
