This was our first time having Korean and this place is great. The food is amazing especially the Hodo Tofu. What makes it even... better is that the service was even better than our meal! We even made sure to ask for the manager Paul's name because he reallygoes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and has a great attitude. We went on a super busy night and he evenwent back to make one of the things my wife wanted that they were out of despite us saying he didn't need to do that. Greatservice! Read more
finally checked out the joint after living here for almost 3 years. 9/15/22 so this joint is alright. big bowls and pricy. but... there is an option of getting a small bowl too. so the price is ok. gets you a massive amount of food portion. i got thefirecracker pork. if youre the type of person getting spicy. that is the dish you want to get. came in not so busy day at 3pm.overall, its an alright joint to grab a quick bowl. but if you want the all korean food experience, go around the corner for therestaurant called Sesame. The HOM in downtown SC is probably the most flavorful, filling and affordable food joint there. I always come here for a quick... meal or when my group can?t decide where to go. Initially I found this a bit pricy for a broke college student, but laterrealized that the quantity for the price is amazing! The serving size is pretty generous although you have an option of a smallbowl too. I would like to praise the manager, Paul and other servers for their awesome hospitality. OMG it smells so good when I was walking past this place in downtown Santa cruz. And the actual food did not disappoint.... Portions are very generous and food is incredibly tasty. I love that they have low carb options. It would be even better if theyhad some assurance but it was keto friendly because it may have some added sugar in the sauces. Read more
A surprisingly delicious Korean fast food bowl. I got the Korean steak which was essentially beef Bulgogi, and it did not... disappoint. I left satisfied and full, would be a perfect lunch spot, even though it is a bit on the expensive side. Read more
