This is a sanctuary and rehab center. All of the animals have gone through something. Expect not to have a lot of one on one... encounters because the animals will be shy and hesitant. Expect it to be hot, dusty and dirty. We did a private tour. They tookus to three different sections: 1) goats, sheep, llamas, pigs 2) cows 3) horses. The staff was friendly but not professional orknowledgeable about the animals, they were story tellers mostly. I don't think I'll be back. Would I recommend it? If you likestories with happy endings and animals then yes. Just be careful and watch your hands and feet, we had injuries on our trip. Read more

Beautiful opportunity if you are looking for a barn experience for your kids. Parking, guidance all done by volunteers as far as... I saw. Vegan hot dogs and select drinks available as well as a free water fountain if you have bottles. Read more

Why go to Disneyland and waste $200+ when you can spend a third of that and help animals in need? What a fun and unique thing to... do. The animals were looking so well taken care of. Shout out all to all the volunteers who made the animals live in peace. ButI think that more families should come visit and help support this wonderful cause. Read more

Really enjoyed visiting all the animals you'd find in a barn at this local Santa Clarita sanctuary. Loved letting, hugging, ... feeding and brushing all the residents and hearing how they came to be saved. Please support with a visit but be sure toschedule a reservation well ahead of your visit. Let me tell you, we LOVED this place. My kids and I went here on a Sunday afternoon. I we parked on the side of the road but... they had plenty of parking. They even had little go carts to take you from your car to the barn. All the volunteers and workerswere so sweet and very knowledgeable. It was so cool that all the animals had their own names and stories. I?m so glad that theywere rescued and have such a pleasant home now. We were able to pet EVERYTHING!! That was so awesome to my 2 year oldespecially. It was such a nice and relaxed atmosphere too. This place is really legit. Such a great place to go with the fam orwith some friends. They?re were people of all ages there enjoying themselves. That was really cool to see. Definitely goingagain. Love this place. Read more

The Gentle Barn is the best name to describe what this barn and all its occupants is all about: Gentle stroke, Gentle words,... Gentle thoughts, Gentle conversations, Gentle love ? Ellie Laks has infused in the Gentle Barn all her healing love and harmony???? All the animals, from the smallest to the biggest are Gentle and welcoming toward everyone, little children to elderlyadults. Dogs are allowed, on a leash. There is a way to eat lunch or drink something on location for a Gentle price aswell. They are -of course- big vegan advocates as they are very much aware of the love, emotional bond, and stories they sharewith these animals, and rescue them from slaughter houses. Support them Visit them Organize your next event over there It's somuch worth it!!! Love and appreciation to all of you at the Gentle Barn. Read more
