I'm not a VegHead but I have to admit that their dishes will sway and carnivore. Their food is delicious. I don't know about... wholesome because I'm not a dietician. But my friends love this place. And those friends of mine know a lot more aboutwholesomeness than I ever want to know. So, I trustingly ate at Eat Real Cafe. In fact, I've gone back 4 times now. We had a fantastic Mother's Day brunch at Newhall's Eat Real Cafe. Everything we ordered satisfied all our various dietary... preferences. (One of us was Vegan and Gluten Free, 2 of us were vegetarians, and 1 of us was a young teen...) Ordering at thecounter was easy and there were plenty of places to sit inside and outside. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Iespecially loved the breakfast burrito which was delicious, especially with the hash browns on the inside...It was one of themost tasty sand satisfying breakfast burritos I've had. We kept going back to the counter to add additional things we wanted totry, like various pastries and other items which we then enjoyed for days to come. Also, drinks served in mason jars is alwaysa win for my wife who has an entire kitchen cabinet reserved just for various kinds of jars. We've alreadyreturned...well...had food delivered since this visit as my son really enjoyed the vegan version of the breakfast burrito andjust needed to have another. Had a nice late lunch here! I love the space, the audio is just the right level, and the staff here are very friendly and... helpful. When I needed to charge my phone for a few minutes they helped charge it for me. The food is also delicious, I woulddefinitely come again for the roasted turkey sandwich~ :) Read more
Very disappointed in my meal. I wanted to get the breakfast burrito but they only offer wheat tortillas / wraps and I can?t eat... wheat. Therefore, I ordered the Thai Tempe salad and paid $15 for a large bowl of spring mix that had 5 small pieces of Tempe onit, 1/4 of a carrot, a few cubes of celery, & barely any cilantro. Will absolutely never come back here and don?t recommend ifyou?re looking for healthy food that?s actually worth dining out for. I eat out a lot and choose the vegan options everywhere Igo and this is honestly the worst vegan meal I?ve been served as far as very plain & way overpriced. This was my first visit. There was plenty of parking around lunch time and we didn't have to wait long to get seated and served.... The food and fresh pressed juices were incredibly fresh, healthy and delicious. I wasn't too crazy about my garlic saladdressing but the Thai Wrap was filling on its own. The pastry case was pretty empty so I'm guessing that this place must bereally busy in the morning. There are also vegan options so no matter what your dietary preference is you'll be able to get somegreat grub. I would definitely come back to try a few more things. Read more
I love fresh food! I had the SPICY chicken wrap; chicken grilled perfectly, organic brown rice, black beans, onion, tomatoes and... hot hot hot sauce. I love spicy but something about this one coated my mouth and left me burning long after the eating was done.I would have given this 5 stars if my wrap wasn?t sooo spicy it was hard to enjoy. My own fault. Next time I?ll say ?go easy onthe HOT sauce?. Worth a try. Lots of options and the baked goods looked great. Read more
