The food is above average, but management doesn't know how to run a restaurant. It took them an hour and a half to get my food... ready and it's because they prioritized all the take-out orders that were ordered AFTER I placed my order. This place is not adine-in establishment and it is definitely not a place to go to get lunch during a lunch break. If you want food from here,make sure you order over an hour ahead; the workers are just as slow as the DMV. Read more
Ordered take out and they gave us the wrong orders. We ordered boneless chicken and it had bones. We also ordered the original... golden chicken and it was spicy, we did not order spicy. The wait time was over 30 minutes and they didn?t have Kimchi friedrice. The food was still delicious and the workers seemed nice. Read more
So I've followed BB.Q since I lived in Korea in 2016, the chicken here is getting very closed to the actual Korean taste. This... particular spot is very new and it took longer than usual but that chicken was exquisite!! I hope they can find the people theyneed to make this Korean Fried Chicken experience perfect. Pretty good boneless kbbq chicken, quite different than just spicy or buffalo American chicken. Different flavors including... delicious soy garlic and different levels of spiciness. The white radish is the perfect side dish, refreshing and crunchy. Things are a little hectic in the opening month, so it is best to order ahead by phone for now until the online orderingplatform is ready. Read more

Came at 8:50pm on Fri Oct 28 and they were closed before their closing time. Told us that they had a power outage or something... that?s fine but the next day we came by and they were apparently behind by 10+ orders and cited having not enough employees.Hopefully they sort out this rough launch because a lot of people here in SCV want a good Korean chicken place. I've been keeping an eye on this place and checking for when it finally opened. When I saw it was (on Thanksgiving too), I was... thrilled and decided," let's do this." First impressions: K-pop on TV Korean couple about my age walked out Big Korean familyenjoying dinner at a table Entire staff Korean (maybe a family?) In short, solid. I get my food and go home. Things ordered:maple crunch and their spicy Korean BBC sauce wings. Side of cheese fries. Get home, bite into it. Wow, oh my wow. This hasgot to be the most fabulous fried chicken you can get in SCV. The shell is a perfect level of crunchy, the sauces, all of them,were a type of delicious that is beyond description , the meat is moist. You really have to try this yourself. Words cannotdescribe how good this is. If you like Popeyes and Wingstop then you're in store for a treat. Consider this place the Cadillacof fried chicken. No issues ordering, food was ready faster than their website said, everything was there, and got some freepickeled radishes. The bad reviews from earlier are no longer relevant. Staff is fast and courteous. Only downside is, i wish Icould get a sampler of all on their sauce flavors. Clearly a ploy to get you back to try more flavors. Nice check mate BBQChicken Newhall.
