This is not Mexican food. It was the worst food I've ever had! If I could it a zero I would. The salsa was like watered down... tomatoe sauce. I ordered a chili relleno and was told it had a fresh chili pepper When it arrived it was canned, wrapped in anegg that was fried like an omelet There was no battered coating, the refried beans were petrified, the rice tasted like it wasburned and scraped from the bottom of the pan. My brother ordered a chili verde burrito, it was equally bad, the green sauce waslike a lukewarm tasteless gravy. The only thing that may have been ok were our dinner salads but they forgot those so will neverknow Save your money!!! Read more

You can definitely tell that the food is made by white people. Food was beyond bland and they also don't serve alcohol. A... "Mexican " restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol???? PFFFTTT!!! They're in a city where locals wouldn't know Mexican food sothis place remains open. Read more

Paula?s is a St. George classic. I?ll be honest, if you?re looking for authentic Mexican food with bold and unique flavors... you?re best to go somewhere else. However, you have to consider that Paula?s is a 1970s Mexican restaurant in a small Utah townthat probably had no other Hispanic food when it was built. It?s kitschy but full of history and good people. The service isalways excellent and the view is fantastic. I love the food (probably because I grew up eating it), despite it being very basic. For a lot of people in St. George, visiting Paula?s is a tradition. I make it a point to visit Paula?s whenever I?m in town. Read more

If you like cheese, then this is the place for you. There was so much cheese, I couldn't taste much else. What I could taste,... was gross. Refried beans tasted like they came straight out of a can and the rice was undercooked. No baby changing table inthe bathroom. The room was hot and had flies. Took an hour to get our food. Our waitress was nice at first then had a hugeattitude when we told her she charged us for 4 drinks when we only ordered 2. Maybe she was having a bad day? I don't know. Wewon't be going back. We went to Paulas with poor expectation having been disappointed on several occasions. They deserved another chance and we saw... great improvement. Salsa could use some improvement. Our food was good and plentiful and it seemed much cleaner. Read more
