I was visiting from out of town for a soccer tournament and called to place an order. I was on hold for 25 minutes and then... decided to drive there and order it in person. I talked with several people in line ahead of me who had been waiting over anhour and watched as others who had ordered after them got their orders first, but it took 15 minutes for anyone to have the gutsto tell them their online order had never been processed. They finally demanded a refund and left. After waiting 50 minutes, Ifound out my in-person order has never been processed either. They refunded me as well but did nothing to try and compensate ormake up for the lost hour of time for me or the other guys. I get that it was a busy weekend but this place was a complete messorganizationally and was not ready for any kind of rush. Read more
By far the worst service!!!!!! I had ordered my pizza on Saturday the 1st at 530pm. And got an email saying my order was ready... and I love 15-20 mins away. I had ordered 2 med pizza pepperoni on both ?well done? and deep dish cheese bread. When I had gotthere no one was even up there to belle any customers, they said it would still be 5-10 mins, so I went to my car and waited.Walked in and still no one to help. An employer has walked up answered the phone and starred at the computer and would not evenacknowledge me. asked if it was ready and they said another 5 more mins. Finally got my pizza?s drive home and had two soggypepperoni pizzas and a supreme. I then called the location and the person who had answered said I can come back in another 20min drive and grab my cheese bread or I can get a new pizza. I told him I just want my money back for the cheese bread and heneeded a manager to see if me could do that. I was on hold for 10 mins and then was hung up on. Dishonest bait and switch!! Got an ad in the mail and thought we'd try it. Ordered a mix and match special from the ad for... Nov/Dec for $5.99 each item. Went to pick it up and they wanted $16+ for the order. When I questioned the price the managertold me prices had gone up. They got me into the store with an ad they weren't willing to honor! The manager said, "thanks forunderstanding" and told me to get out! This is the last place on earth you want to eat!!! Called the number listed below andgot corporate headquarters. They indicated that I would be contacted by the owner. Still waiting . . . . Clearly their heartsare NOT broken by what happened. Read more
Ordered a specialty pizza with wings last night at 5:30 pm. The young lady on the phone was unclear of how to take more order... and I reminded her to charge me. I understand that everyone is currently understaffed and trying to maneuver through this roughtime due to the pandemic, but my order never arrived and I was billed for it. I tried repeatedly for three hours after myoriginal call to contact someone at the location and they just stopped answering the phone. The food has always been great andthe delivery has never been an issue. Not sure what happened last night but it has definitely changed where I will be orderingmy pizza from. Read more
Ordered a pizza with stuffed cheese bread and a 2 Liter Mountain Dew. Delivery driver did not bring the Mountain Dew. I called... the store and notified them. The boy who answered the phone just told me they would give me a free one next time. No option tohave it with my meal tonight. I asked him ?so I just can?t have it today? he said no because his driver just got off theirshift. He said I could go in and pick it up. So I told him that I tipped the driver and paid a delivery so I would have to gopick it up myself, he just responded with ?yep?. Worst customer service experience ever. No effort to resolve the issue insteadthe boy on the phone was just short and disrespectful and they expected me to put all the effort in to fix this while theyreceived payment and tip. Hungry Howie's used to be the place to go. I remember how their pizza used to be. The cheese used to fall and melt in your... mouth. Now every time I have ordered I always end up calling to complaint and I hate doing that. So I stopped ordering fromthem. Today my kids were starving after a game so I decided to try my luck. A large stuffed crust with pepperoni and X-cheese.If you see the photo that was my pizza just crust, sauce and pepperoni. Xcheese on a hungry Howie's used to be a glorious thing.Not any more. They went from being great to being horrible within a a few months. The customer service there is a joke especially from the boy... that worked the night of 10/21. We use to order almost every other week, now I don't think we will unless things change. Read more
