There is no way this place should exist. It was chaotic to say the least. The food was not good. At all. You could tell it had... been sitting there re heated for a few days. Not very clean at all. I found a hair in my food and the guy there said the women working there has long hair and the hair was... short. My hair is down to my waist so I don't know what he was trying to say. I'll never go there again. Read more
Came here for lunch with my sister because it was close to our work. Its not the best place for a sit down meal but the food was... really good. They did seem busy with catering orders. Not sure if I would be back to sit and eat. I may just order to go. Read more
I put my culinary reputation on this review. 1 star is 1 too many. It was the worst place I've ever eaten. It looked like a... storage room thru up. Dirty tables,dirty warmers,half eaten place sitting on top of food to be served. I ordered 2 tacos and adrink it cost $14. The taco meat was grey,the tortillas seemed microwaved. In an effort to be as fair as possible, I waited a little while before writing this review. With that said, I've eaten a... breakfast burrito, had chips and salsa, as well as a barbacoa taco at this place, and it's definitely an acquiredexperience. The acquired experience isn't meant to carry a negative connotation, you just have to enter this place with anunderstanding of what's going on. Because I've seen a variety of mixed reviews, I'm going to give a full run down. First, it'smy understanding that this place mostly specializes in catering at this point, so the restaurant's dine in experience won'tsatisfy everyone. With so much focus on something else, the business feels cluttered, but if you've ever eaten at a place likethis in Mexico, it also feels authentic. It's just not for everyone. Regarding the food, I also found it authentic. If youaren't used to white corn tortillas, and a heavy reliance in salsa and lime garnishing, you might find the food slightly underseasoned. I suspect the focus in catering large events also has something to do with that. For the $12.50 my breakfast burritocost, it definitely outranked some of the other places in town, and I find the prices to be right in line with them as well.Notably, they also have a great Mexican beer selection, including the coveted Does Equis Ambar Especial. Overall, and I hate tosay it, but If you're going to eat here you should probably have a real comfort level with Mexican food and how to salt, lime,and salsa it yourself.
