Pathetic biryani and pathetic customer experience. Visited this place on 5 Nov 2022. Took forever to place an order. Placed... order for Vijayawada chicken biryani and spicy. What was served was the most pathetic chicken biryani ever. 0 spice, uncookedand hard chicken pieces and salt less than required. Customer service: Asked for the WiFi password for the Pista guest wifi asmy data network was weak. The guy at reception took my phone, entered something for password and then smiled at me wickedlysaying it is not getting connected. I said if the password is correct, why will it not connect to which he just smiled in awicked way and said its just not connecting. I went back and asked my brother to get wifi password from the same guy. He wentand got the wifi connected in 1st try, meaning the guy knew the password, just didnt want to put in for me. Very weird. As an Indian restaurant I didn?t see the curry leaf which I really don?t like. That?s why the test was good . I also asked the... waiters for halal food and they said all meat is halal. The environment is also nice for the dine in. Read more

Newly opened branch of Pista House Milipitas. Similar to the main branch, haleem is available here all year long. We have been... here to taste Gongura Chicken Biryani. Once we were in the restaurant we saw most plates on every table was thali platter. So,we were tempted to give it a try but were uncertain of the taste as there were as many left overs on every table. To oursurprise, it was appetizing. Every dish in thali was flavorful. It was served with two biryani scoops, couple of naan, fishcurry, chicken curry, mutton curry, dal, chicken 65 & kabab, pinepapple halwa, plain rice and curd. Anything on the platter canbe refilled on request. Absolutely worth every penny($14.99 during weekends and $12.99 during weekdays). If you have a greatappetite you can order platter without any hesitation. We observed that there is lot of food wastage while ordering platter,hope it will be addressed by the management. Ambience also is not upto Milipitas branch and I think they are still working onimproving it. Make use of cash as mode of payment for 10% additional discount. Gongura Chicken biryani is mild yet yummy. Musttry. Hope they keep up the taste and quality. Update: On my recent visit we had non veg platter and potlam biryani. PotlamBiryani is a must try.
