The BEST HALAL BEEF BURGER in Bay Area imo. They make their burger patties! And all other Mediterranean dishes are also... amazing!! The Lamb shank is juicy, superb and huge!! And best thing is that they?ll always try their best to accommodate yourrequests of customizing the dishes! Read more

Found this place while searching for Halal food in the area. Drove to the location, parking was available which is convenient. I... asked if I can substitute chicken for meat and ok to pay extra for that. The Staff would not allow me to change or orderanything that is not a meal posted on the board. I believe it is bad management. I tried to find a meal option that doesn't havechicken and like i said offered to pay extra, but the owner would not accept it. His response was always, if it is not listed inthe menu we cannot serve it. I left without ordering, went to another restaurant, Halal Gyro and express chicken. Theyimmediately with ko hesitation told me absolutely, we can customize your meal to how you would like it. Ended up ordering fromthere. I would not recommend this place if you are trying to pick and choose what you want to eat vs. What the owner think youshould eat. I cannot comment on the food. Read more

This review is from someone who has owned multiple Afghan Restaurants in her life and has many professional Afghan chefs in her... family?. THE LAMB SHANK WAS AMAZING. I always get lamb shank at Afghan restaurants, it?s my favourite dish, but also the dishthat is the hardest to get right. The rice was super long. The lamb super tender. Properly salted! Carrots and Raisins werethe perfect softness. I am excited to try their other Bolani that I am taking home. I?ve been away from home, and came here tosatisfy a craving and it hit the spot. Respects to the chef. Read more

I have visited this place twice during last week, we find the food very good and the person was very helpful and courteous. He... explained dishes to my friends who were trying this food for the first time. We have order Kabuli Pilao with lamb shank, chickenkabab with plain rice, chapli kabab and Bolani (aloo Paratha in oven). Bolani is traditional Afghan dish, it is potatoes, onionsand some chili inside although it was not spicy. The best item was Kabuli Pilao with lamb shank, it was a proper Kabuli Pilao, they put steamed carrot and raisins on top, which is optional. I have tasted it with carrots and without and I prefer withoutcarrots. The lamb shank was properly cooked and meat can easily be taken off. It has all the fat and juices of lamb shank.Chapli kabab were good as well. They usually put some Sumuk on top of plain rice, which gives it a different taste. Bolani was agood surprise and people from Pakistan and India can relate it to Aloo Paratha. I can whole heartedly recommend this place forlunch and dinner. Read more
