First time trying this place. The atmosphere is good. Went around 1pm the restaurant was empty. The service was really slow even... though the restaurant was empty, I am guessing because they had to prepare everything from scratch. The food was amazing. Iregret not taking pictures of the food. I am not to familiarize with Indian food but it was a really good to me. In the otherhand, my friend asked for his food spicy and it was too spicy for him but still good. Went here for a dinner with my husband without much expectations. Got seated as soon as we entered. The food was quite good. We... ordered Tandoori fish, samosa chat and Chicken tikka masala with some bread. Tandoori fish and chat were the best. the curry wasdecent. Portions are decent too. We also ordered nimbu paani, expected it to be fresh lime juice but no, it was store boughtlemonade with ice. :) Can visit if you want to have good Indian food with nice ambience. Read more

Got plastic brush bristles on my naan. Someone called Xavier(not sure if it is true) who calls himself as manager came and spoke... to me rudely saying it is just from the brush and it is not a big thing. I had an argument with him and then I paid the bill andhe turned off the lights though some of us are eating and when asked he said its closed and you already paid the bill so I?m notgoing to turn on the lights. Great find. This is centrally located right next to Mission College. The place is huge , clean (hard to find for Indian... restaurants) and the best part is that the food is really good. We were here on a Tuesday evening (so can?t comment about theweekend rush) but the service was prompt and good as well. The naan in the bread basket were soft, the chicken makhani wasflavor full. Today I was in Santa Clara! Was looking for good food???? Stumbled upon Kish on google maps???? At first I was little skeptical... ???? if I should go or not! ????? but finally decided to go ????? and I can?t not tell you how satisfied I was!!! Literally fromwalking in, to the taste of the food was just perfect!!! Nice Hindi music was playing! Not so loud where it becomes distraction,but loud enough to enjoy it!
