Great location and delicious afghan food! It is located close by Great America. We had Mantoo Entree (it’s so good!) and Beef... Kabob (the beef was so delicious). Drinks: coke and black tea. The food was delicious, but the service was just okay. Don’texpect nothing fancy or fast. The food took about 20 minutes. It’s not that bad, but it’s not as they promote as a fast foodrestaurant. I went excitingly today to grab middle Eastern food with my girlfriend however food was very disappointing. The chicken kebab was... dry n undercooked from places. The eggplant grill was very oily . When I brought to their notice they excused to take intoaccount and started covering. I ate what I could but dumped most of the food as it was unedible. I always prefer to go toFremont location and this place doesn't do justify to the brand Management to intervene immediately Read more

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Fremont Kabob’s 2nd location opened in Santa Clara. I ordered Bolani and Chapli Kabob... to go. The restaurant was clean, the staff were very friendly, and to top it all off, the food was delicious. I will recommendFremont Kabob to all my family and friends. Read more

Location is exceptional close to great America theme park. Ample parking. Menu has good varieties to choose from (see... photos). The sultani order was full of meat and was tasty & flavorful. Their Afghani Sultani dish is NOT the same as thePersian restaurant style. Read more

Alright honest review time So basically came here after Jummah and wanted to try it out. Parking was alright, little tight... since it's in a parking lot shared with other food places Inside was nice, good amount of tables and it is self service to getyour napkins and plastic utensils (quite disappointing instead of metal). They had music going on in background, would recommendto remove that since it's not needed as well. Food came in a good amount of time like 10-20min of wait time and it wasfresh. The brown rice was an extra $2 extra since default for the kabob/chicken platter is white rice. We got the sultan kababto try 3 diff meats and review them. The paper plate was quite a disappointment since it makes the portions smaller especiallywhen ordering a 3 combination platter. The chicken botis were good and juicy, same for the beef and they gave 4 of each. Thechapli was one large piece and it was good too. The downside was the quantity of rice given and it lacked flavor, although itwas brown colored. It was enough for 2 people to share one platter that we had got. Soda can was about $4 for 2 cans. Alsothere was no traditional afghan bread served complimentary that you normally get at other afghan places. Think of this place aslike an expensive fast food afghan type spot that's also pricey (but then again it's afghan food which is pricey) and it's alsolocated near work buildings and a community college. They gave a small container of chole and one of chopped vegetables(salad). The salad and the chole (garbanzo beans) were not good. The garbanzo beans and potato it was too sourish (but it wasmeh) rather have salad dressing than that. And the salad looked old and stale if you know what I mean. Overall the chicken wasvery good, the beef pieces was good and chapli could be a little more thicker. And be ready to pay up Read more

The ramen restaurant next door said they were reservations only, so we came here instead. And it was a pretty good choice! We... got the lamb kabob, chicken curry, and mantoos. The curry and mantoo were both pretty good. We liked the lamb the best, quitetender, and really tasty flavor as well. Service was pretty quick too, and the interior was clean and well lit. Read more
