They said they did not have the kids rub plate available because they didn't have the ribs, but that we could buy the regular... full size rib plate instead. Which was almost double the price for my 11 year old. Not sure why they couldn't cut those onesdown to the kids serving. Spent almost 70 dollars for myself and my daughter to order a simple dinner. Labor Day service - the food was excellent however the changeover from using pagers to demanding your phone# to advise your... order is ready is not well done. I choose not to hand out the number or be part of a data collection. Employee didn't know whatto do however a name was used to call out to us. Great, however they never called out to us and the food was getting cold on thecooks shelf until a busser who knew us told us it was ready. The food was pricey and this was not funny, we will not go back tobe treated like less of a patron simply because we want our # to be private. Read more

My son has the tri tip sandwich with Caesar salad. He said it was delicious. He loved the sandwich. The salad was ok. My Prime... Brisket small plate was very good. It was maybe a bit lacking in smoke flavor, but it was delicious. The spicy slaw was good ifa bit mild. The staff at the check out were friendly and helpful, but a bit inexperienced. Read more

Friendly staff, one of the restaurants that did all of the right things to make it through COVID. The food continues to be... excellent! I tried the Tortilla Soup for the first time a few weeks ago and I've upgraded to it as a premium side ever since.Just spicy enough and very flavorful. Their Brisket Burger with BBQ Sauce is excellent, and you can order it with their oat bunto make it more healthy. The staff is great and I highly recommend their rewards program. Read more

I really wish Armadillo would seriously take a good look at their business and ask why it has not done well. The tri tip was so... dry, hard to chew and it was the daily special. The baby back ribs were a bit better, but certainly no where close to what itused to be, it was burned. The corn muffin was really bad, so dry and hard, it must have been re-baked several times. We usedto love going there, but it really has gone south in quality and they were not cheap! Read more
