The food was amazing - I had the lamb chops. Portions were decent for main courses, and the ambience was excellent. We couldn't... decide between the desserts so we got almost all of them, and none of them disappointed. Highly recommended. Read more

Toma had some of the best Italian food we've ever had! My mom and I had the lasagna and were blown away. It was so delicious... with fresh basil on top. My sister enjoyed the ravioli too. The winner of the meal was the Belgian chocolate torte... oh mygoodness!!! This was truly one of the best desserts I've EVER had! Absolutely divine! The cocktails are also very good andstrong. ;-) This was definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Barbara. Read more

Recommend making reservations prior to eating. Ambiance 5/5 Wine selection 5/5 Food 5/5 My wife and I came based on reviews... from trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Initially we sat at the bar but were able to get a table when someone didn'tshow up for their reservation. The ambiance is great for a date night or small group dinner. Candle light and low level lightingambiance. Large wine selection for wines within the United States as well as Itialian wines. Our food was delicious. There iscomplimentary bread and butter as well as battered and fried olives stuffed with blue cheese (seen in the photos). Many finedining Italian restaurants do small portions for their main course but I was surprised with the size of the portions. We orderedthe gnocchi, rigatoni, and mushroom risotto. Everything was phenomenal. We were too full to order any dessert. Would highlyrecommend coming here for dinner. Read more

So good. Everything was exceptional. It was late Saturday night, our last night visiting and we had our heart set on Italian.... Originally we wanted to go to a different restaurant but that didn't work out and I'm so glad. We came to Toma and they had atable available for us right away. Turns out the owner was the one who greeted us. He was so kind and even though we don't dressup, I felt like we were treated so well. Some places aren't like that and you can get treated differently if it's a high endrestaurant and you don't fit in (ie the other Italian restaurant we tried to go to first). Not Toma. Everyone was so nice. Weended up switching tables shortly after we sat down and they were super great about that too. The owner is hands on and friendlywith all the guests. We had the ravioli and the lasagne and both dishes were amazing. The seasonings and flavors were so wellprepared. And my husband picked up a new idea for his lasagne at home. He's usually underwhelmed with lasagne since he likes tomake his own but Toma's impressed him. We also had the warm chocolate torte and citrus olive oil cake. So delicious. Theyreally made our night. Also George is a hoot btw. Funny guy. Thank you Tom for your amazing customer service! Read more

Food, staff, and ambience of this restaurant were all excellent. All the food were cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the... outdoor seating to the open ocean breeze. We ordered: tomato lobster bisque, arugula salad, grilled octopus appetizer, scallopand lamb chops, then shared a lemon cake dessert. Read more

We came here for dinner and had an excellent dining experience! We requested a table outside to soak in the harbor views and... even though it was a little chilly, they had plenty of heaters turned on which made it extremely comfortable sitting outside.Their menu had a bunch of really tasty looking dishes and we ended up ordering the Braised Beef Short Ribs and the RoastedChicken. Both had phenomenal flavor and came with a good amount of tasty extras mixed in that complimented the main dish flavor.Their dessert menu looked tempting but we were too full from our dinner. Overall this was a great dining experience!! Be sure tomake a reservation…we booked a table for a Monday night and they were slammed the entire night with people waiting outside. Read more
