Reviews for Rudy's Mexican Restaurant in Santa Barbara, CA
Great restaurant, my personal favorite of all the Rudy?s locations in Santa Barbara. If I could, I would give this review 4.5/5... because of the not-melted cheese often times in the center and the ?lightly? cooked tortilla. I personally prefer a more cookedtortilla for my burritos (I won?t knock a restaurant for my personal taste) but I will for cold cheese. Read more

If you are strolling around the main street, take a detour and check this place out. Fish tacos were unbelievable - light but... full of flavor, great portions, and complimented with a number of salsa options from the salsa bar - all of which wereexcellent. Homemade corn tortillas heated up on the griddle. Absolutely fantastic food here! You will not leave hungry but youwill leave happy! Read more
Best hamburger. My kids and I are really picky and omg everyone loved the burger. Patty was big and juicy and they used white... cheese! The combo comes with the fries only. Fries are perfect too. My dad had shrimp tacos which on the plate looks like ashrimp salad that's how big they were. My dad always finishes his food and this time he had leftovers that's how big the portionwas. He really enjoyed the taste. The only thing my kids noticed that needs to be addressed is the ants by the soda machine. Therest of the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Their hot sauces are really good. Read more
Loved the food here. Had two fish tacos and my buddy had a fish and shrimp taco. My fish tacos were delicious and it came with... rice and black beans, big portions too. They have a salsa bar with some pretty good salsas. The young man that took our orderwas very helpful too. I?d definitely be back in the future. Read more
My wife wanted to try this place for breakfast over what I suggested so of course we came here. This place was basically across... the street from our hotel room so it was nearby. When we got there, no one was there so we were there only customer. My wife gotthe Chilaquiles and I got the #3 breakfast burrito. I didn't enjoy my burrito and it was very greasy. My hand was basicallycovered in oil after the first bite. My wife enjoyed her Chilaquiles. We ate outside to enjoy the Santa Barbara weather. Read more
Good Taqitos. School cafeteria feeling, English punk and American hard rock in the speakers.
