Even though they had a set menu for Thanksgiving, we still waited over 1 hour for our dinners. They were not busy to warrant... that kind of delay. The food was bland, any when we actually had someone's attention, the service was ok. Read more

As a native Buffalonian I was so excited to find out that the owner is from the Buffalo area. Brought my visiting family in and... everyone was so happy to see the Buffalo Bills decor. Love a handwritten menu. Food was solid. The flavor of the wings wascorrect, but they were just tiny. Next time I’ll order a side with the wings. But for being 3000 miles from home, it hit thespot. I’ll definitely be back! Read more

Really tasty food. The pasta is fresh made and tastes delicious. The space is kind of dark, I would have liked more light but... that is more of an observation not a complaint Read more

Roy & the lady greeter were so nice! Loved the hot wings so ordered another plate. The chocolate torte was moist and not too... sweet so it was very good. The creme brulee to die for. Thank you Roy & staff. Read more

Cool art and overall uniquely decorated space. Some of the food was great… other entrees lacked flavor at all. I loved the... details, the handwritten menu, and the potato pancakes. We waited over 2 hours for our food (it was Christmas Day). Read more

I was really disappointed in my meal after having read so many great reviews. The server was very friendly, however that’s... the only positive thing I could say about the dining. The food service was quite slow; it took approximately 45 minutes to getfrom ordering to eating. I ordered the pasta with chicken and it was a total disappointment. The food was completely bland, the sauce was basically water, and I left about as hungry as I was when I came in. This was the first time I’ve ever had touse the salt shaker on the table at a restaurant. After all was said and done, $40 for watery bland pasta was not what I had inmind for a nice meal out. Maybe times have changed - I can’t recommend this place in good conscience. Read more

This place was awesome. The house salad was the best I’ve had in such a long time! The hand made pasta and meatballs were... delectable! It was empty on a Tuesday night which there’s nothing wrong with. Service was quick and delicious! Read more

Roy is a Santa Barbara culinary and cultural jewel. Roy restaurant is as near an embodiment of an actual person as I've ever... seen; in other words Roy has soul. Great food items created and crafted from the mind of Roy Gandy are laid out on handwrittenmenus and feature local organic produce and seafood. Roy also serves food late so it's a great place to get excellent food whenmost other kitchens have cooled. The decor features rotating collections of artwork from local artists and beyond. There arealso relics from local landmarks gone-by like the large neon Jolly Tiger backlighting the bar. They also often have live musicon weekend; Call ahead for schedule. Read more
