While finishing up a day trip to Santa Barbra, my girlfriend and I decided to go to the downtown area to do some bar hopping and... grab dinner. Rascals is perfectly situated inside a walkable, hip area, making it a great choice for us to check out. They gaveoff a very casual vibe that was inviting and the waitress was super friendly. We’re both big fans of Mexican food and lovetrying all of the vegan Latin spots we can in LA, so Rascals had a high bar to cross and they absolutely killed it. While I wishmore of their menu was traditional focused and less Tex-Mex style, they still have a good number of choices for both. As eachof us took our first bites, we couldn’t wait to have the other try what we had gotten. We are already planning another trip tothe area, and I can say with confidence that I will definitely be coming by Rascals again to try some of their other items! Read more

Rascal\'s is one of my favorite spots in Santa Barbara. I dream about their Impossible Tacos. Every meal I\'ve had here has been... fantastic, and the service is excellent. I\'m a vegetarian and really appreciate I can eat anything on the menu. But myexperience tonight was truly exceptional. Tonight, I showed up with 11 grumpy people and the server was so accommodating andfriendly; she didn\'t mind us moving tables around to seat so many of us right away. Only two of us were vegetarians and therest were skeptics, but they were surprised by how much they loved it. We were tired and we needed tasty food, and as always,Rascal\'s didn\'t disappoint. This gem is a must-visit for vegetarians and vegans, but so far the meat-eaters I\'ve brought herehave also been delighted by how delicious it is. Do yourself a favor and eat here asap! Read more
What a wonderful find! I was visiting the area and looking for something different. This place serves an all-vegan... Mexican-themed menu. I got the asada sopes. Absolutely fire! For approximately $18 with tax and tip, the value exceeds what youcan get at many Santa Barbara restaurants.\n\nThe facility itself has a very cool vibe. You don’t have table service, but thebenefit of that is that you can chill and truly mind your business with your company — outdoor or indoors. Read more

Visiting from San Diego I was hoping to get food here, unfortunately they are no longer at this space. But I lucked out can... catch them on a pop up at a municipal winemakers. I got the crunch wrap and the Soyrizo and potato burrito. It was delicious.Super flavorful, filling, and not a typical run of the mill vegan dish pumped out. The wait wasn’t terrible, but even if thereis one the food is worth the wait. Had to to dine in, municipal was a great location, beautiful outdoor seating, but we had togo inside due to rain, Keep an eye on their socials for pop up dates and locations. Read more
