The patio is lovely & the server was friendly, but the rest of the experience was not what we had hoped. Our bread was very... overcooked, (hard as a rock) & the olive oil was bitter, as if it sat in the heat too long. We had the insalate tricolore as ourappetizer, which was tasty & the best part of our meal. The service was slow (not busy at all) & the kitchen staff was loud, obnoxious, & unprofessional, to the point that even out on the patio we could hear all their non-stop silliness & it ruined therelaxing ambiance. I have no issue with enjoying one's time at work, but that was just too much. It took a long time for ourentreés to arrive & they were both quite heavy & greasy as well. Lastly, we shared the tiramisu for dessert. It tasted stale, like it was thawed from frozen & sitting uncovered in the fridge for several days. So disappointing for such a lovely location. Read more
A little disappointed, The ambience was great, good wine, but the service was very slow. Our requests were often ignored, we... asked for balsamic vinaigrette twice, at the end we had to ask for it to another employee. We got appetizers with no individualplates. Our dishes came after almost 1 hr of waiting. Nevertheless we didn't complain, and we also decided to give them agenerous tip, because we are very positive people and always give our best energy. I personally feel the every customer thatvisits your restaurant should receive good service. Read more
Great food and service. The lamb was amazing and tasty. The angel hair pasta is simple and very flavorful. The desserts are... phenomenal. Staff is very helpful and caring. Make a reservation especially if weekends. Good outdoor seating available too. Read more
Amazing experience at this adorable, cozy and delicious restaurant just up the road from the main strip in Montecito! Pane e... Vino is tucked away in the corner of a cute little shopping center on E Valley Road, just a quick minute off the 101 Fwy. It hasoutdoor, patio and inside dining, beautiful setting. We went for lunch on a Saturday and it was quiet and peaceful, honestly farbetter than waiting for one of the crowded, expensive spots on the main drag. Food was off the charts good! Italian owned andoperated for 32 years, they use locally sourced fresh produce and high quality ingredients. The olive oil was rich anddelicious, it was quality. The chef custom made chicken piccatta off menu for my dad and it was the best I?ve ever tasted. I hadthe spinach salad and added grilled shrimp. Their pancetta and grilled shrimp were amazingly good.. this was the BEST salad Ihave ever had. Service was amazing.. loved our serving staff. This is a local?s favorite that we stumbled upon and it was anabsolute gem! Bravo Pane e Vino for providing a first class experience across the board! Worth every penny! Read more
We always have a wonderful experience here. The staff is fantastic and the food is amazing. It's tiny and crowded so you may... have to wait for a seat but it's worth it. Besides, sometimes you can get into interesting conversation with your neighbors. Ifyou like Italian this is the best place in town. From the bruschetta to the tiramisu everything is fresh and perfectly done. We've had fish, pasta, and chicken and are never disappointed. The staff has always made us feel like family, and that'ssomething you just can't fake. They work together as a team to make sure you have a great meal. Read more
