Good cocktails and food but whenever I eat upscale Mexican I can?t... help think how a hole-in-the-wall spot with food and drinks for a fraction of the price always tastes more authentic and better.Gorgeous beachfront location. Free chips and salsa (rare at an upscale Mexican spot). Guac is very small portion for the price.2 enchiladas for the price of 3 (again, it?s upscale). Great food & atmosphere. My friends and I were all really pleased with our orders; we all had tacos. We also tried the margarita... Guadalajara, & the lava salt was the perfect touch on the refreshing drink. I believe the owner was walking around and served usfor the evening, he and the rest of the staff were very friendly! Me and my sister came here on a vacation from Scottsdale Arizona . We ate here on Thursday and the hostess was so sweet and... accommodating. I ordered soft tacos with steak and my sister had the salmon with pineapple chunks and asparagus on it. The foodis UNBELIEVABLE. I have never had such amazing tacos in my whole entire life. I wanted to thank the chef but it was so busy.This is such a great restaurant, great vibes, food is very flavorful and reasonably priced thank God. God bless the staff. It was really exceptional. My favorite meal of our trip to Santa Barbara. The Decour is inventive and pretty. The wait staff... were super kind and helpful and attentive. Every single dish we tried was crafted with care and love, and with massive amountsof flavor, and perfect seasoning. The cornbread dessert was a shocking and delicious surprise at the end. Arguably the best Mexican food I've had! And I've lived in California for almost 20 years and in Texas for almost 15. The... location is amazing too right on the waterfront in Santa Barbara. The service was as good as the food. Will strongly recommendto anyone visiting SB and will definitely go back when we visit next time. One tip - would suggest going for lunch so you canenjoy the location. And it gets super crowded and they don't take reservations except for larger groups. Read more
Had a really nice dinner here on a Saturday around 5pm. The queue was long. They originally told us a 45 min wait when we... checked in for a party of two but ended up waiting 55 min instead. The system they use is the Yelp wait list and the system toldus to come back 20 minutes sooner than we should have. It?s a bit confusing to be honest. But we picked this place specificallybecause they are dog friendly outdoors. There were several parties with their four legged friends there. Nevertheless, theservice was prompt and the food was excellent. It was worth the wait. The octopus ???? plate was flavorful, the lobster ????empanadas had good chunks of meat inside and lots of cheese, and the fried plantains were nice and thick too. This was the first time I been there and I was surprised ???? how good the food ???? is. At first I thought that it wasn't much... food but when the food came it was a good portion and it tasted really ???? good. We were sitting outside,across the street wasthe beach in Santa Barbara . The place is big and the staff was very polite. I don't recommend you take kids. The drinks ????are awesome ???? very good taste. Really traditional Mexican food that was authentic. Great setting and vibe. Miguel our sever was excellent. We had the... enchiladas- chicken salsa verse and Del mar. Really great taste.
