My first reaction to my first bite of their California burrito was "uh oh, chipotle is better". A lot of rice and a lot of beans... packed into their large burritos. The burritos weren't bad, but they weren't anything special. Aka, they were edible, but itstopped being good at around 4 bites. Read more
Raul and his team at El Zarape were one of our favorite vendors to work with on our wedding day. The food was AMAZING, the... prices were great, and the service was above and beyond our expectations! From our very first meeting, Raul was incrediblyhelpful, informative, and so fun to work with. He walked us through every detail and was prepared for everything from setup toclean up. When plans changed last minute, he was flexible and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious, warm, and wellpresented. Our family and friends are still talking about the great food and drinks, and my husband and I can?t say enough abouthow thankful we are for such incredible service. El Zarape is fantastic. I am always looking for a consistent burrito place and El Zarape does the job perfectly. Simple,... sizeable burrito for a really good price, multiple meat options (including lengua), beans and rice are on point with cilantroand onions wrapped up inside also. Bomb lengua burrito and chk taquitos! Looks like lengua was diced to small-ish bites an given a little fry of love for a nice... tiny crunch on top of slow-cooked perfection before rolling up in killer beans, rice onions cilantro. Taquitos had perfect frytexture, not over or under, chicken seasoned really well; not yer typical bland chicken taquito meat. First time, and will beback. Lived in SB only a few years but still on the best burrito hunt. This place ranks very high. Read more
