Had a really bad experience here. Staff working here were rude. 1. Sun was right on our face (we got a bad seating). We had... requested for a different seating, and they were completely inflexible. 2. Eggplant parmigiana sandwich literally had noeggplant… when asked about it, our server was like “Oh, it’s closing time. That’s how it usually is around thistime”. Hope they improve soon Read more

My friend and I ducked in for drinks while waiting for our reservation to dine. The drinks were served with style and quiet... flair. They were strong, tasty, and a little expensive. It's old-world and classy looking on the inside...cushy leather booths, fairy lights, ivy on the walls, and old blue eyes on Spotify....a great spot to ease in and enjoy your evening. Read more

My wife and I couldn't finish our dinners, not that it tasted bad, but the meal wasn't sitting right in our stomachs. Got a... doggy bag and took the food home. My wife was nauseated the next morning and couldn't hold it down, if that says anything. Thestaff was very nice and accommodating. The restaurant was busy (Saturday night, 730pm reservations) so it was a little loud andchilly as they left the door open but my fault for wearing a short sleeved shirt out on a cold night. We were served our waterin plastic cups, where everybody else had glasses... I looked. Not that I care that much but for $120 for 2 people, it wouldhave been nice. I ordered the jalapeño pork chops and my wife had the eggplant. The waitress explained their food to be "EastCoast Italian" which we equated to be southern Italian, Sicilian, which is heavier, spicier, chunkier than northern Italian.Think Bucca De Beppo, without the family servings... And save yourself some money. Read more

Food was ok. Staff was extremely nice, despite being very short handed. The atmosphere was lacking despite a great... location. Music selection was more in tune with a 50’s style diner and food lacked flavor beyond garlic. Interesting menuoptions, had never seen such a huge piece of calamari- but it easily could have been prepared with more flavor/ something otherthan garlic to make it more memorable. Read more

Visiting Santa Barbara and feeling very hot following a long walk. Attracted by the bar for just a drink, but made to feel so... welcome (thanks, Joe) that we stayed for a late lunch. Lovely, traditional Italian restaurant, clearly very popular with thelocals. Excellent pasta, great IPA, and a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Would definitely return. Read more

This is a really nice and home feeling place. I feel like this is the type of place locals go to and the staff will end up... knowing you. They were really friendly and service was quick. We sat outside and they had some nice old and classic musicplaying. Seats were comfortable and they had a good list of food and drinks. I would eat here again. This place was also waybusier than other places with similar places nearby. This place also uses high quality tomatoes and tomato sauce. They buy froma company my friend used to work for and they have premium products. I think the thing I was surprised about was that I didn’tsee pizza on the menu. They might have it here but I didn’t see it… Read more
