My wife and I visited Santa Barbara on 9/20/22 and were looking for a Taco spot. We came across Casa Comal and decided to try... it. The taco?s were extremely flavorful and contained fresh ingredients. The portions were adequate and the prices wascomparable. The environment was welcoming and the staff were very personable and professional. I would definitely recommend thisspot if you want quality good tasting food. My only suggestion is that they consider doubling the tortilla on the tacos.Although delicious it was a bit difficult to eat because it kept falling apart. Read more

Local shop on State St. Difficult to order if you do not speak Spanish. My son wanted tacos but came out with one with neat and... cheese(?). Only customers there and it took a very long time for food to come out. Chips and guacamole that was supposed to beappetizer came out last. I don\'t know if I\'d go back. Place is really small but has a small seating area outside. Small portions. I had a carne asada torta it was mediocre. Nothing... special. My mom had sopes they were tiny but good. My dad had tacos which were mediocre. Handmade tortillas! Two of my son\'sorder carne asada quesadilla and it was the worst. They put lettuce and sour cream inside with some non typical quesadillacheese. They hated it. My oldest order flautas. The flautas were tiny and placed on top of black beans so he didn\'t eat theones on the bottom smothered on the beans. Beans should had placed on the side. Food took forever to come out. Read more
