Not one sandwich ordered but three?cheesesteak, Hawaiian burger and grilled cheese. Either they?re paying people for positive... reviews or customers are genuinely fooled. Extremely pedestrian food and to top it off they?ll send you to the restaurant acrossthe street to wash your hands. $13 for a soul-less grilled cheese? The cheesesteak is an insult to Philadelphia. We are extremely impressed with the service provided by The Sandwich Society. We had a catered lunch planned and unfortunately... due to an emergency the caterer backed out. We decided to go to The Sandwich Society via Door dash but the app would not work.We made our way in and the team was more than happy to assist us with our 20 sandwich order. The cashier re-read our order andtook the time to make sure everything was entered correctly. When we received the orders, all modifications were written on thewrapping to make it easier to distribute to the corresponding team member. Thanks so much! Chopped cheese was delicious albeit a little over seasoned. Also had one of the specials (double sauce turkey) which tasted... great but was tiny for how much it cost. Read more

Pork belly sandwich is AMAZING. Staff is friendly, service is quick. Atmosphere left much to be desired. The walls are basic,... nothing like the photos previously posted. One wall has a black chalkboard with little to no flair. Other wall had two gianttextured frames of what seems to be hills or grass. Not very appealing and a bit dirty looking. Read more
A few weeks ago, I came to eat to this place to have lunch around 12:30 pm. The line was put the door and I was starving... already, so I decided to go to the place right next door. Today, I actually was around the neighborhood and decided to treat mysister to lunch. I texted her to come join me and find the place not busy at all. My sister went for the chicken club with asparkling strawberry lemonade and I went with the ultimate patty melt with sourdough since I'm not a fan of rye bread. The foodarrived like 7 minutes later, the sandwiches were big and looked very appetizing. I finished one half of the patty melt and itwas delicious, everything tasted seemed very fresh and hot, the fact that it had avocado, i think made the sandwich tastebetter. We then switched sandwiches and I had the chicken club. I liked it too, however the chicken club didn't have avocado andI believe it needed more spread. The sandwiches come with a cookie and it seems that they also bake their cookies in the house.Overall it was a great experience and I will certainly recommend this sandwich restaurant. We got the steak and cheese and Italian sandwiches. They were so good and made on good bread. No public bathroom. Also, next... to other cuisines such as Mexican, Indian, and burgers which could provide a good solution for everyones cravings. Really nicestaff. Ambiance was white and silver cafeteria like.
