They offer a 10 piece ($55) and a 12 piece ($75) omakase. I was wondering if there was a difference between the two other than... two additional pieces. No, the only difference is just two additional pieces. The two extra pieces were an uni/salmon roe, and aJapanese seabags. I wasn?t that interested in the uni to warrant the extra $20, so I ordered the 10 piece. I also ordered atamago sushi at the end. It was an enjoyable meal. I appreciated how they had custom toppings to go with each fish. They alsohad a list of the fish, which I appreciated as I got to see which fish I was eating. My favorite was actually the first, whichwas a Black Sea bream. It had this unexpected smokiness to it, and a rich truffle flavor, that I really enjoyed. I also likedthe scallop with caviar. I've had one other place for omakasae and this experience was enough to make me not remember the first at all. Delicious food,... fantastic service, the owner came over and spoke with us to check on how we were doing. All around great time, worth what waspaid, and would definitely recommend and come back! Came here during lunch time and ordered the 10 PCs omakase ($55). Everything is very fresh and delicious. Would definitely come... back again. They do close fairly early at 1:30 pm during lunch time so make sure you get there early. Read more
Omakase...I finally tried it. OMG. Simply amazing. I never tasted sushi this delicious before. "Delicious" isn't even the word.... "Tasted" doesn't even seem like the right word to use. It was a total experience in my mouth. Not sure if sushi will ever be thesame at any other sushi bar. This place has set the standard for what sushi should be. I can only imagine that this is whatsushi is supposed to be. I have never been to Japan but this dining experience certainly transported my taste buds to an entrelynew world. Read more
