Wonderful wait staff, food came out quickly, breakfast sandwich was a large sized sandwich. Coffee was mediocre. Overall not bad... for 05:30 airport breakfast. Read more

I ate Cobb burger. It was good. It comes with smoked bacon???? , melted blue cheese ????, fresh avocado ???? , crisp iceberg... lettuce and tomatoes???? slices. Almost no waiting during lunch time. A lot of seats are available comparing to otherrestaurants in John Wayne Airport. If you want to seat immediately, Ruby's Diner will be your one of the best options. Read more

First we waited near the bar and the next door take away deli at the sign that said please wait to be seated, after a few min we... were told that the hostess was on the other side of the bar in the restaurant; so we walked there to be told 5-10 min wait. Wehad 45 min prior to boarding and from previous reviews we were hopeful we could get fed, pay and able to board in that time. Wemade it in about 45 min after having to track our waiter down twice to pay. I ordered the ruby burger with cheese and garlicfries and husband got the chicken tenders app with the three sauces. All of it was okay, nothing special not that it isnecessarily expected in airport diner style food. Staff was busy-ish but also spent a lot of time chit chattin at the orderinput/pay station which I felt impacted the unnecessary delays and it's out in the open so everyone can see that there is a bitof gossip happening :/ After we were waiting to be seated and was being escorted to our able we heard the hostess tell someonethe bar area was first come first served... okay it's to late now but the lack of transparency or knowledge of who can sit wherewhen in a location such as this surely deserves a deduction of 1 star! Receptionist had horrible communication skills. Almost felt like we were bothering her to give them money. Table was sticky... and dirty. Wait staff took long time to take order. Training and leadership needed! Read more

Great service and the food came out fast. Since I saw some of the complaints mentioned slowness, I timed how long it would take.... I was in no hurry so it good to see what the time was. There were two of us. Our food came out in 14 minutes. Then Ideliberately ordered a sprite afterwards. The waiter came back with my drink within 2 minutes. And that was after watching himattend to another table near us. Then I asked for a separate glass of water and that came almost immediately. My travelingcompanion did the same thing and both were good. I was very satisfied with the way our waiter served us. Furthermore, he wasfriendly and courteous. He even kept our drinks flowing. The burger itself was good and tasty. They made mine exactly the way Iasked for it, well done ????. This is a great place and I recommend it ???? Read more

As of writing, still limited menu, and only the bar area is open, so not very ideal for families yet. Sad to see still no... milkshakes, but this is typical of the airport at the moment; there's no ice cream or milkshakes anywhere! Staff is reallyknocking it out of the park! Had the Bacon Cheeseburger with cheddar. The burger was good, buns a bit crisp, but no realcomplaints. I got my fries Cajun spiced and I absolutely think it was worth it! Delicious. Overall, I also think it was okvalue for the airport, the burger itself was fine, but with the drink it came out to $20? Maybe I just did the math wrong orremembered the final price with the tip, but that's really the upper end of what I'd wanna spend for lunch Read more
