Absolutely delicious! First time to eat here and it sure won’t be the last. I got the chicken and lamb kebabs. Cooked... perfectly and the sauces are outstanding!! Another hidden gem on 4th street, here in Downtown Santa Ana. This is my second time here at Kebab Place, and I had to try the... Gyro Wrap with a side of curly fries. Man, it was fire! A lot of options to choose from, whether you want to go healthy or ifyou feel dangerous and want to go heavy on the carb side (like me, for instance), you have it all! OMG! I love Mediterranean and Greek food. I wanted to try this place because I just happened to be in the neighborhood, and I am... so glad I did! At first, I was shocked at how much I was about to spend for lunch, but the first bite wiped all of that away. Itwas so worth every penny. I'm not even a huge fan of lamb, but I ordered the Lamb Greek Salad and it was so tasty. It did nothave that lamb aftertaste. Delicious beyond words. I completely recommend Kebab Place to any and everyone who lovesMediterranean and Greek food. Outside seating only, to-go orders, and Postmates delivers. When I got there, I scanned a QR codeto get the menu. They also take wireless payments. Parking is limited, but it wasn't busy or difficult to find a spot to park atthe time I went. I will only speak of my plate and the experience and interacyion with the owner. Summary: all customers are not treated... equal. I ordered the steak plate which was plated well and delicious. The vegetables lacked flavor. The steak was not overseasoned. And while I did order medium rare, my steaks came as medium. The interaction with the owner was sub par anddisappointing. I do not drink sugar drinks and only drink water. I asked for a cup of water and the owner was quick to grab abottle of water and charge me for the water. He mentioned that he does not give water from the tap. This could be his businessmodel or he has water issues (fine if it is his business model). But surely that cannot be since he brings drinks out with icecubes. I purchased the water. Soon a gentleman asks the waitress for water and the owner reaches into the refrigerator to get abottle of water free of charge. Why was I up sold while this gentleman in a suit is given free water? This is rude andobnoxious. The owner does have good character it seems when he interacts with people, but at the opportunity for an upsell heis in your face. Otherwise a cozy environment with fresh flower on the table and bar that are 1-5 days old. Read more
A delicious and healthy meal with a yummy cucumber, yogurt, mint sauce for dipping. Small place with indoor and outdoor seating... to people watch. Easy to miss but it's right across the street from Starbucks. Read more
$85 for lunch for 2, but man.. what a lunch!!!!! Definitely worth a return trip, or two...
