I don't usually leave reviews of restaurants considering we go out to eat a lot, but I feel this deserved one. This place was... hands down the BEST Mexican food we have ever had, I can't put into words the quality of food, freshness of ingredients, orattention to details as this place had provided. Do yourself a HUGE justice and visit this gem when in Sanibel Island, FL. Oscarwas the best, friendliest and most informative waiter I have seen in quite some time, you could tell he had everything on themenu at some point in time and provided a non biased opinion on the dishes based on your culinary preference. The food is excellent! They have a great selection of appetizers and Everything is made from scratch with Heart! There is live... music and a bustling crowd. It?s a big establishment with a huge ceiling with wooden pieces! Lots of free parking and friendlystaff! When your on Sanibel island stop by and enjoy! Read more
A dear friend had been raving about this place for over a year. I had the great fortune of driving down to find out for myself.... The drinks were on point. The guac was fresh w/ a nice chicharones surprise addition, the tacos were amazing! Definitely one ofmy favorite food experiences from my trip. Will be back for more on my next visit! Read more
I really liked this place. Great atmosphere and friendly people. They had music playing Monday night and it was very island... vibin?! Food was delicious, not a huge menu like some places. Definitely would get the Guacamole (watch it being made fresh onsite). Margaritas were delicious and we loved the street tacos. Read more

Visited yesterday for a late lunch, and we ordered Avocado tacos, and Shrimp Fajitas. Both dishes came with rice and... beans. This establishment advertises itself as a Tequilaria, so we ordered a flight of Tequila (because , ?when in Rome?). Ourserver was Lisa, who in addition to being beautiful was an efficient and kind server who made excellent recommendations. Sheadvised us that they opened ?a year and a half or so, ago? during the height of the ?Pandemic?. The building is nicelydecorated and conveniently situated at the corner of Sam-Cap Road and Rabbit Rd essentially mid-way between the two resortcommunities of Sanibel Island and Captiva Island. Overall we thought the experience was EXCELLENT. The server was great, thefood was served fresh, hot and delicious. The location was generally clean, and the place was relatively easy to find. Wefound the prices to be slightly above average for a day to day business, in a regular community, however they were what onecould expect in a touristy-resort area, which we were prepared for when entering. We will absolutely return to 400 Rabbits forMexican food at its finest. Read more
