Typically we get good food and service but this past Saturday was not typical. The food server seemed disgruntled about... something. She didn't say a word to me, she didn't ask if I needed anything or if my order was correct. The biscuit wasovercooked and hard. It was warmed up in a Microwave and sent out! The grits were...well nasty. Felt like eating Elmer's Gluewith raw grits thrown in. I put the bowl on the edge on the table and ate my delicous Omlet and not ONCE did anyone ask about myfood. She took it off the check but I can tell a difference in customer service when certain people are working there. I havebeen a customer there since they opened as Macs...so I know the difference in Servers and Side Cooks. Again this was not atypical visit, which is normally pleasant. Read more
Typical Dinner with plenty of Blackboard Specials. BAKED potato salad side dish was unusual and tasted good. Hard to find... because it is located behind Walgreens in the far corner of the shipping center just off of RT 1. Read more
The chef salad and taco salad are fresh and is a nice size portion. There bacon cheeseburger was tasty. There are also other... delicious dishes there to try. Read more
I had the Fried bologna burger with baked potato salad and it was great! My hubby had the 8 oz ribeye with fried okra and sweet... potato casserole. He ordered the steak med-well and it was more on the well done side but he said it was still good. Greatatmosphere and we can?t wait to go back! This is definitely a hidden gem. On the weekly drive we are always looking to find a new place to eat. This restaurant did not... disappoint. Everything that we ordered tasted fresh. The hot dog chili was very good. We will return to Tramway Diner. Read more
First time here, they happily greet you at the door to have a seat. Food was really good and service was great. As I travel... through here about twice a month. I know I?ll be back to try more selections. The Catfish was excellent and everything we hadwas delicious. Huge variety of food to choose from. Read more
My son and I decided to stop at this little diner for lunch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Staff were very... friendly and helpful. A nice variety of menu items with breakfast served all day. They also have daily specials. Service wasfast and food delicious! Our waitress was kind, attentive and gracious with us as we had quite a few questions. Highly recommendthis place! Read more
Our second time there, I had the Grandma's sampler, my wife had a meat lovers omelette. Food was quite good, my wife's biscuit... was pretty hard, the server was scarce after our food arrived. For a diner, the food is quite good, on par with Cracker Barrel,but way less expensive. We will continue patronizing this establishment Read more
