Good quality food. Each restaurant by Chef Hamm is a true delicacy to Sanford. Outdoor patio seating only; you order inside and... they bring it out to you. However, the prices do NOT reflect that it?s a take-out only restaurant where you?re using packagedplastic cutlery to eat off plastic containers or the size of the dishes. Read more
I was excited to try this place as everything on the menu looked delicious. This place has been voted best brunch in town year... after year so I had to try it. I was surprised when I got there to learn that the dining was outdoor only. Thankfully, it was abeautiful day and I didn?t mind. You place your order inside before finding a seat, which can be tricky as I had my one year oldwith me and the only seats available were in direct sunlight on a hot day. The food is served in plastic take out containers andthe presentation looked less than appetizing. There are no options for kids and for almost $40 the food should have looked moreappetizing. Our bacon was burned and the eggs were tasteless even with cheddar cheese. The worst part was the ?stuffed Frenchtoast? which I wouldn?t call stuffed. It was two slices of French toast with about an inch of cold cream cheese in between. Iended up scraping most of the cream cheese out. I found myself wondering what chef would put something like this on the menu andwho are the people that voted this place best brunch in town year after year? The best thing I had during my visit was thecantaloupe in the fruit salad and I?m typically not a fan of cantaloupe. Read more
I have a severe sensitivity to gluten and Cafe 121 was the first place I found when I was diagnosed 5 years ago. I have been... coming for years despite having moved away. Hands down the best place (and my favorite place) to eat in Sanford and the nearby area. The menu is unique, on the healthier... side, and you can also buy various grocery and bakery goods to take home. The seating area outside is lovely for dining andrelaxing while soaking in downtown. I?ve never had a bad experience here. The food and service are always excellent. Keep inmind that they do close pretty early (2pm), so plan on coming for breakfast/brunch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Read more
The food and service was absolutely wonderful. They are very friendly to those with food allergies and you can eat here safely. ... They have dedicated food prep space to prevent cross contamination. I had the fried chicken, scrambled egg, bacon, and Havarticheese biscuit and I would definitely order that again. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Read more
