Atmosphere, food, drinks and service were good. The only reason I?m giving one star is for the simple fact they would not... substitute the rice for broccoli as it is against company policy. What happened to customer service? When a customer is payingover $400 (group of 4) for drinks and dinner, least they can do is substitute a side. Read more

One of our favorite local spots. Make sure to get a reservation for quick seating. This is one of the few places in downtown... Sanford with an elevated dining experience. The atmosphere is always inviting with a great choice of tunes at the perfectvolume. Tables are not right on top of each other and the design is a mix of old and new which adds charm and character. Thecocktails are on point - just had the Shanks-giving which is one of their unique seasonal crafted drinks. As for the food, thedishes are chef created with no substitutions allowed. It?s always fresh tasting and the presentation is good. For example, theempanadas are pretty much a flavor explosion. The deserts change with the season and they offer after dinner cocktails to pair.If you are in Sanford, this is great for a casual dinner or a special date night and I recommend it. The service is alwaysgreat, but the host stand often seems a little unwelcoming or distracted. Read more

decent drinks, ambiance, food etc! The drinks are so delicious, we ordered drinks, appetizers (starters), entrees and desserts,... and everything was great. The ?Pollo Royale? has a very nice jus. The mushrooms side was good too. The ?coffee& cream ? (cremebrûlée) dessert was beyond delicious although personally i don?t like berries on my creme brulee. The chocolate cheesecake wasgood too. All in all, a very unique restaurant to visit and enjoy at! Read more

What a wonderful restaurant. We really enjoyed out experience. This started with an open table reservation. We were whisked... inside upon arrival. The drinks were perfect and the food nicely portioned to not overeat or need for takeout. Read more

Wow. I didn't know Sanford had this caliber of food. Aweaome atmosphere. Creative space design. Fantastic ingredients and... quality. Great flavor profiles. REAL chef-made food. This is not your average Florida eatery. It's so refreshing to find a placewhere not everything is just thrown in the fryer. Read more

If this is Stanford?s idea of jail, lock me up & throw away the key! Loved every aspect of my dining experience there. So glad... OJK takes reservations. The waitstaff was great! Avery recommended the empanadas and they were better than those I?ve eaten inColombia or Portugal! Can you say dog friendly? This establishment allows pooches which is another plus! I will def bereturning! Next time, I?ll try the romantic room inside! Read more

We had to bring my oldest son to the airport so I googled places to eat in Sanford. I saw the Old Jailhouse and thought it... looked fun! We had Sunday brunch - and it?s a limited menu. We absolutely loved the food. The kale salad was honestly a fullmeal in itself. The Green eggs and ham was whimsy but delicious- my 9 year old loved it ! We also got the shrimp cocktail and acheese omelette! The Mimosas were great too! We will definitely be back! Read more

I wanted to like it more than I actually did. Some of the food was AMAZING. One of our party got cold food. The server seemed... willing to rectify it, but when she didn't want to be a bother, she was still fully charged for her cold food. Not a BADexperience, just not the one I was hoping for, having heard so many wonderful things about them. Atmosphere was fantastic. Wehad a large-ish party, so we actually got seated in a "cell," which was a ton of fun. People kept walking by and closing thedoors, too, so it was a great, interactive time! Read more
