Waited in an empty restaurant to be seated for over 10 minutes - got to the table for happy hour to be told they literally have... no beer options except Miller. The server said oh I'm new at this so I don't know their menu yet in response to what do you haveon tap... we got up and left. We arrived at 9pm. Restaurant closes at 10pm on Sunday Eve. The wait time to be seated was excessive given the low number of... patrons compared with staff. Alex was our server, and the bartender. She was friendly. She ordered the fish and chips $13~,with endless sweet potato fries ($1.49 upcharge vs Steak Fries, Broccoli or Side Salad). I ordered the endless salad for $6.99,your choice of house salad or Caesar. Broccoli seemed fresh and steamed. Served without butter or seasoning. Service was slow.Fries arrived cold. Fish was inedible as the oil was bitter / rancid. Salad portion was for a child. Alex was helpful andremoved the Cod, replaced with chicken tenders which were hot; actually rather delicious. Mind you, PDQ is next door... Housesalad was typical. Cheese, tomato, croutons, head lettuce. Caesar was unremarkable, tangy, small. We will not return. My wife & I have always loved Red Robin, however after our last experience a few weeks ago here we will never go back. We... ordered a take out meal & get home only to find my wife's order was completely wrong. In addition to that I unwrap my burger tofind contaminated matter caught in between the bun & paper wrap. Still ate my burger only to get violently sick 3 hours laterthrowing up with severe diarrhea. Filled out a survey the following day & also sent an email the following week....their onlyresponse was giving me a $15 gift card. No phone call or apology email, a refund would have been nice but it appears they haveno concern or interest after our last experience. NO THANKS, NEVER AGAIN! So we went here after church and as we pulled into to parking lot was happy it looked as tho we had beaten the church rush. We... walked in and saw that it was fairly empty but then was told that it would be 25-30min wait. I couldn?t believe it but we wherealready there and had our minds set for a burger. We sat to wait for our table and then noticed the signs posted. They had nogrilled chicken and another stating there was a staff shortage. Thankfully we go to this restaurant for burgers not chicken. Iheard the hostess tell a few others that came in that they only had two servers on and could only sit so many tables per server.Being a server previously I completely understand the limited sitting. Sadly for the restaurant in the time we waited to beseated they had 8 tables walk out. As I stated the time we where told was almost 30 minutes we barely waited 15 minutes. In thattime to help with the restaurant we looked at the menu and was ready to order the moment John our server came over. Once seatedJohn was there in no time and was on top of everything. The food came out fast and good. Got our side and drink refills with nowait. This restaurant took what could have been a bad day and made it great.
