330pm on a Friday. 5 tables seated. Restaurant otherwise empty. Bartenders talking and playing. Hostess tells me there will be a... wait. I’m a party of one. She disappeared to the kitchen. We always go for lunch (prices are lower). Kelly our usual server in the bar area seating is very good. However, she is... stretched. She's expected to even be a stand-in manager. She still takes good care of her diners. Now to the challenges.....1)They are now serving catfish from China. Wow! 2) The lunch prices are out of this world. Lunch, we are conservative in ourdining choices, cost $42.00 with tip, no beverages, just water. 3) The menu size is extremely small but the prices haveincreased dramatically. 4) Red Lobster is a place that won me over to seafood in the mid-70's. Too be honest it's hard for me toleave a restaurant (chain) this restaurant in my past but now I will. No more R/L for me. ?? Read more

What a pleasant surprise walking into Red Lobster in Sanford. I could smell the fresh paint on their wood trim when walking in... the front door, which was a welcoming scent because I know how important it is to have the restaurant looking fresh and clean.The doors were free from finger prints and the floors were spotless. The restaurant in general was exceptionally clean. I waswelcomed by two hostesses and sat myself at the bar. Shane the bartender served me and was a nice guy with a good demeanor. Iordered the Salmon New Orleans which was cooked perfect and delicious! The overall experience was exceptional. I’ll be backfor sure. Read more

Happy Easter everyone!! I visited Red Lobster today i started with the amazingly famous lobster pizza warm flat bread with... cheese garlic salt and chunks of lobster// then moved to the nee barbecue glazed salmon, which was tender and juicy andperfectly portioned however it comes on a bed or cheesy fried potatoes which were also covered in a melted American cheese ( waytoo dense and salty and soggy did not complement the perfectly cooked salmon) to help with the denseness if the cheesy potatoesi ordered a plain side of jasmine rice (1cup) it also came with sautéed spinach and pickled red onions which were not acidicenough the dish was missing that little bit of heat or zing from a lemon Chardonnay butter and feta or goat cheese would havebeen a great replacement for the melted salty dense American cheese, and in stead of 1/2 inch squares of fried potatoes, ashredded or scalped bed of backed potatoes would have gone so much better and really elevated the dish from “Ok” to“Flawless” the barbecue glaze could have been more smoked as well, lastly i finished with the chocolate wave ???? Very bad service, waitress was nice but rude at the same time, she had her moments,but overall she was taking care of way to... many tables to provide excellent service. Everything was wrong, drink... asked about wines never got a reply after she saidshe'd go ask the bartender, never got appetizer she forgot to place the order, she messed up the orders got 2 sides of broccolieven though I changed my mind about the 2 sides and asked her opinion on the options. Lobster was not cooked properly. Myelderly mother who suffered from hypoglycemia almost passed out on us. Total time was 2hrs. 30 minutes waiting to be seated(witch isn't all that bad for a Sunday). Spoke to manager, but had to wait 10 minutes for him to come by table to comp foodbecause we didn't even want to take it. Read more

I came here Tuesday, August 24,2021 2:28 p.m. I ordered the shrimp scampi with a side of Cesar salad and a side house salad.... Everything was excellent!! The food, the service!!!
