VERY BAD first experience. Wanted to try this place out my husband and I decided to get wings because we were on a time... crunch..it took these people an HOUR AND A HALF to make 12 wings and fries they forgot to give us our fries I had to remind herthat the order came with them. It shouldn?t take 1 and a half hours to prepare 12 wings and fries. There were ppl coming inafter us and getting their food before us which was completely UNBELIEVABLE. Instead of them offering a refund they just kepttelling us 10m originally she told us it would be 30m and we would have our food but it took an hour and a half...I would notrecommend this place and this will be the first and LAST time I spend money in there just sad. I visit to this restaurant on 06/25/2022. And order oxtails and rice & beans with the plantains. The food use to be great but... now it?s horrible. My ex introduced me to this place several years ago. It's my favorite place to get jerk chicken. It's always so good and... flavorful. I always get the large plate so I can have leftovers. I don't think I've ever gotten anything else before besides thepatties, but I've heard that all of their food is good. It seems to be a very popular place with the locals as well. Low key, but lively place for great to-go Jamaican food. I love that it?s just steps from the Sanford City Hall, the Seminole... County Courthouse, the park, and the waterfront. Great location for a restaurant! The staff was very friendly and packaged myfood neatly. But, beware, if you order a stewed dish, you may get juice running out of the container into your bag. The pricesare good and you get a decent amount of food. I would take 1/2 star off bc my beef patty was over warmed/baked, so parts wereburnt. ?? The oxtails and rice were delicious!! The waitress was so nice and very polite. Great vibe and music. The only thing i didn't... like was the sweet plantains, they were hard and tasted like store bag. But other than that, it was good. I will go againdefinitely! Read more
