We used the drive thru, paid for sauce for their shrinked up gizzards that we did not get. The box was wet and falling apart.... The fried chicken was decent. We saw many people coming back with their orders. Read more
We love Famous Recipe but our location closed decades ago. So every time we are in Sanford, we stop at Lee's Famous Recipe to... eat. They always have specials on something and if we come on the weekend when they don't have specials, we get the strips andthey are very filling. The food is always good. Read more
Service on a busy Wednesday was awesome. $5.99 chicken dinner is a good deal, the chicken was very good. Good size pieces. Love this place. They are usually pretty consistent on the food, but some times the gizzards can be bad, but still better then... most places. Not always the friendliest of service( on this visit the service was great ),but hey they get the job done. If yourever in the area definitely stop in, and give them a try.
