We went for dinner and the food was not good. I had the grilled chicken taco salad and he had the fajita nachos. The meat was... not seasoned and was very bland. They provide good portions but I left most of my food on the plate and didn't ask for a Togobox. The server was okay. It was pretty empty so the food came out quickly. Had a great time. Service was fast in every aspect from being seated to the chips and salsa, to drinks and appetizers, to the... entrees, to getting the bill. Food was great and drinks were too. We haven?t had a great experience. We ordered food to go and the vegetarian burrito had meat in it. Also, the avocados that came... with the taco orders were half black, and the chicken tortilla soup was extra salty. We called and complained but according tothe waitress, the manager could not do anything for us. We?re definitely not coming back. There has to be better Mexicanrestaurants in the area. Read more

You have to love it when you walk into a place and it smells like an old mop. I will start with the food being decent. Tasty... and fresh, but not Mexican and thatis perfectly fine. The flavors are super Americanized. With that said, I do like the food.There is nothing you can take away from the quality. Chips and salsa are an excellent starter and they do not let you down.Marry that with outstanding service and you have a placeto recommend. It feels like they really want to please you. I alwaysleave satisfied. If it is real deal Mexican you want, this is not the place. If it is great service and really good food,Tijuana Joe's is a solid call. Give it a go. Read more
Have not been in years but used to go often. Food came out really quick and was fresh and hot! I had lunch portion of chicken... quesadilla, ordered a side of sliced avocado since it didn't come with guac. My friend ordered the Chicken Bowl. Each got ourown bowl of salsa. Pics attached to see how they rate on your "looks appetizing" meter. Server was nice but not alwaysaround...not far off though. We were randomly seated for our own space. Walking up to establishment at 4p.m., They have a outside sitting area. 6 tables were dirty with plates, etc. No people were... outside. We went inside, nice atmosphere, we were seated quickly. Our waitress acknowledged us quickly. Got our drinks andordered cheese with artichoke dip. The dip came, the cheese was cold, and the artichoke was literally frozen. We informed thewaitress. She took it back and returned it after putting it a microwave. It did not taste good, as it had water in it. Myhusband ordered the shrimp fajitas. When it came, it was not hot like fajitas normally come out. They put maybe 1 small scoop ofrice with beans in a small taco bowl. I ordered the chicken soup, and empanads. The soup broth is mainly water. Not chickenbroth. Not seasoned, however they give you raw onions, tomatoes and cilantro to add to soup. The empanadas were cooked prior,they were cold and have been sitting and full of grease. Did not eat them. ???? This was my 1st time at this restaurant. Iobserved that they only had the 1 waitress, and 1 bartender. Not sure how many people in the cook line. This may be the reasonthe food was like it was. ????
