Good sushi. I loved the old location when it was on Pharr road. It has lost its charm and ambiance, but it has good quality... sushi. Read more

Our family has been dining at Taka for over a decade and it never fails to impress. The Sandy Springs location is warm and... welcoming and Taka and his team are wonderful. Such care and effort taken with every dish! Must try: spicy crispy Tuna, sashimiof any kind w his famous wasabi pickles, tuna tartare, okra sashimi app during the summer as a special, CNN roll, Lobstertempura roll, popcorn okra, cucumber salad and Brussels. All of Taka’s sakes are wonderful and the fresh fish is amazing.Definitely pay attention to his specials though. They are always a unique gourmet treat! Read more

Amazing sushi! The sushi here is so fresh and yummy. The uni special was beyond amazing and so were all the other plates we... ordered. Will definitely come back during weekdays for the omakase and other dishes that are not offered on the weekends. Read more

Intimate inside seating but delicious rolls! We came here since we were in that part of town but the food was worth bringing me... back ITP to experience again. Love how they named many of the rolls after some of the major companies in the area. Read more

Simply amazing. The nigiri and sashimi were both outstanding! The sashimi portion size was on the small size but the quality... was wonderful. The waitstaff were very knowledgeable and courteous. This is my new goto place for sushi in Atlanta. Read more

I had to update my review of this place. I had originally given it 3 stars, but that was 4 years ago and I found their food a... little lacking. I went back yesterday and had a much better experience. The food was top notch this time. I ordered anassortment of nigiri sushi (Otoro, Madai, Uni, Amaebi, and Hamachi), Tonkotsu Ramen, Katsudon, and Gyudon. The only minordisappointments were the Ramen and Otoro. Ramen was a little bland and you can get much better at Jinya just a few miles downthe road on the same street. Otoro didn't have that silky and buttery texture and flavor that I've only found in maybe 2 places(Tomo and the One Sushi+) other than my visits to Tokyo. Prices are slightly high here, but not as bad as places like Umi andTomo. i spent 80 bucks for lunch, but that's not terrible considering what I ordered. Read more
