You can never go wrong at Scoville Hot chicken (well, unless you pick a spice level that you can?t handle). Great food, great... service, great vibe. Everything in the sandwich goes well together and no matter what level of heat you choose to go with, youare guaranteed to have a delicious chicken sandwich. On July 26, 2022, I went to Scoville Hot Chicken on Roswell Road and was very disappointed by the lack of customer service. When... you walk in, it?s a fairly empty room and one guy cooking in the back. I was confused as no one greeted me and there were nosigns to direct me to the kiosk. Apparently, there is no cashier and you have to order through the kiosk only. When at thekiosk, I was surprised that the chicken combo (chicken and fries) that was supposed to be $12 (according to the sign on thewall) came up as $13.95. When I asked the worker/cook Kevin, he said he didn?t know why the price is different, said he has onlybeen working for 2 weeks, and just looked at me. I asked to speak to the manager and he said there is no manager present. I thenasked for the manager?s name and number and he then very looks confused, proceeds to gets on his personal cell phone and startscalling people. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I ask what?s going on. He said he doesn?t know the manager?s phone number andhe is trying to get it. Since I was in a rush (lunch break) I couldn?t wait. Clearly, something needs to be done with thisestablishment. First, pricing needs to accurate, signs and communication needs improvement, restaurant staff needs training tounderstand how the pricing is structured and should know the name and number management, especially for emergency purposes. Thisis very disappointing as this was my first visit and I was not expecting to have such poor, mediocre service. I will not be backhere any time soon. New, competent management is direly needed. Honey, it was the hot, fresh chicken for me! I got the medium because I?m a wimp when it comes to hot food so I can?t take... much. The medium had just the right amount of heat and because it was super hot (right out the grease) it added to the heat abit but I was able to distinguish the two. I got the sandwich as it?s known for, with the coleslaw, pickles, and sauce. I?mglad the chicken was so big that I was able to taste the part sticking out of the bread before tasting it all mixed together. Ifeel as if the coleslaw was too much. You lose some of the flavor of the chicken. The chicken is just right? hot, crispy onthe outside but juicy on the inside, flavorful. The French fries were also hot and fresh, seasoned very well. However, mypersonal opinion is that the flavor of the fries didn?t mix well with the sandwich as a whole. Everything is cooked to order soprepare to wait about 5-10 minutes or so for fresh food. There was only one person ahead of me so it wasn?t terrible. The onlyother thing is the price. I paid $14.45 for the chicken sandwich, fries, and tea. That?s a pretty hefty price for lunch. Ialways think that if I pay that much, I need to be sitting in somewhere. All in all, it was good. If I?m on that side of town,I would probably swing by again but I wouldn?t make a special trip. Major chicken san. The sandwich is undoubtedly large in size & quite filling. If you like spicy just get the hot sandwich. Got... the reaper first time trying & it did not disappoint either but its a very potent heat, the slaw didn't disappoint on thereaper. What a waste of money. Ordered while at Fire Maker brewery. Had to walk down. To pick up. Ordered three sandwiches two extra hot... and one reaper yhey all were same taste not hot at all. I don't like to review restaurants with 0 ratings as they strugglethese days but they should not give out nasty food. I've all ended up throwing sandwiches. Ordering is super easy for anyone. I tried the Reaper and it was definitely very spicy. Their French fries are well seasoned and... all the food was hot and fresh. Great first experience but even for me (Mexican here????) I will try Hot next time instead ofthe Reaper I could NOT ???? Read more
Had the reaper hot chicken sandwich on a weekday right before lunch. The sandwich was delicious and hot in both temperature and... spice level. The coating was crispy despite the hot oil dip and was really enjoyable. I would definitely go back there again.Very tasty Read more
The portions are very inconsistent. Every time we come here it?s never the same at all. We love the food! It?s delicious. Last... time we came the snack box came with 3 tenders and fries.
