I love this spot. They have authentic Mexican food. Get the top shelf margarita pitcher and get it frozen. It?s cheaper than... buying individual drinks and it?s mostly liquor. The food was tasty. We went last Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The birthday boy suggested the place. Upon entrance, we were told it was... cash only. There was no sign on the door. They directed us to an ATM at the grocery store next door, but if we left to do that,I would have just suggested another restaurant, so we scrambled to find cash in the bottom of our purses etc. We were sat withchips and dip, no water. We sat on the patio since it was a nice day. Two of us ordered a margarita, which was broughtout. After 15-20 minutes, we realize all the other tables were being served except us, including those sat after we had beenthere. Nobody came to take our order. Nobody checked on us. We watched everyone in the patio area receive food and beveragesexcept us. There were 2-3 employees helping the tables around us, a party of 5. We paid for the margaritas and told them whywere were leaving. No acknowledgement, no apology was offered. La Parrilla was around the corner, with excellent service andamazing food. My boyfriend and I came here for the first time and enjoyed every second! The atmosphere was great, the food delicious, and our... server, Oscar was amazing! From the very beginning with the fresh salsa with the perfect amount of kick, we were hooked! Oscarnot only get great suggestions but was also very attentive! We have been to this place before and we have pleats experience but since the menu changed, they have increased the price of... food which i understand due to covid. But charging extra for chips and salsa is unheard of at Mexican restaurant. Also we paid$2.25 for 2 oz cup of hot salsa which was half way filled! Read more

Not impressed. I ordered a Speedy Gonzalez from the lunch menu. The Speedy (taco, enchilada, rice, beans) was $9.30 after taxes.... A bit steep for what it is and compared to what other places charge, but I gave it a shot. The taco and enchilada are small. Seepic. This is a standard styrofoam to-go container. Taste-wise, not impressed. The staff were nice. The place looks nice, butwhat will make me never go back is that my to-go order did not come with chips/salsa. That is extra!
