Had to wait 30 minutes for food. Food was not as advertised, both plates looked very rushed and sloppy. Flavor wasnt bad but... wasn't good either. Never going back Read more

Nice little cafe in a great location. Our visit was in the winter, but I can imagine enjoying the sun and listening to the... babbling brook whilst sitting on the deck. My americano was fine, but I also tried my families drinks and was disappointed. Thechai latte was deathly sweet, and the regular latte was served in a large cup drowning in milk. The real let-down was the food.On all items ?eggs? are box-poured scrambled eggs and the bacon is just heated ham. Avo was leathery/hard presented onunbuttered bread with the thin omelette style eggs. Read more

Great food, good coffee, beautiful setting and the guy behind the counter is super nice. Glad we found this place, it?s a hidden... Newtown/Sandy Hook gem! Ask for the apple pancakes and bring an appetite or a friend because you get a lot for what you payfor. Read more

I love this cafe. It?s so quaint and cute! The location is great, right next to a babbling brook. Makes for enjoying your... coffee, tea, or food very relaxing. Food and coffee were pretty good. Especially the cotton candy cheesecake. All in all, we?lldefinitely come again next time we visit CT. Read more

This place is the best. The gentleman working the counter, who I believe is also the owner, was beyond friendly and eager to... please. He's set up an atmosphere that melts away any stress you might have come in with. Pleasant jazz playing in a clean, bright, minimalist coffee shop that is a perfect combination of homey and professional. The cold brew that I had was absolutelydelicious. Regular black cold brew, but the coffee was sensational. My wife was very pleased with her latte, as well. We almostbought a selection of a la carte macarons, but the owner advised us to buy a box instead, because it was more cost effective forus - very nice - and then he threw in an incredible, fudgy brownie on the house because we were first-time customers. The deckout back overlooks a cute park and a stream that adds great ambience. This place is so great, I only wish we lived closer sothat we could visit more often. Read more

Definetely the perfect place to have some food and enjoy the view of the river, the place has its own parking lot so no need to... think about where to park, it is located in the heart of Sandy Hook town, overall the atmosphere is ideal for relaxation becauseof the river view, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone wants to try the local food while enjoying the river view and sounds.
