Chin-Wah's is just okay. My parents have been going there forever, even before they moved locations. The food is extremely... bland, just barely tolerable, though the prices seem very fair for the portions on the diner for one meals. The service was goodfor what it was, but they only offer take out service, so I only interacted with the staff over the phone, or for the brief timeit took for them to run out the food to my car. That being said, the curbside service was nice. Overall, Chin-Wah is my leastfavorite Chinese-American restaurant, and to be honest the only reason we ever eat there is if my parents have ordered it whenthey invite us to dinner. If you like bland, fairly generic offerings like basic veggie stir fry, takeout style fried rice, andchow mein with hard noodles, you'll probably enjoy their menu, for me and my wife will stick to places like Fortune Cuisine(located practically across the street) where they offer a bit more variety and flavor in not only their dishes, but theirdining experience. We have been coming here for 20 plus years and used to be big fans. However, our experience tonight was incredibly disappointing... and we will no longer be returning. Beware that online prices are well under the actual prices for the food. The manager told usthere was nothing she could do because their website online isn't their "actual website" and the prices are old. She told methat if I had a problem with it that I should be the one to call The Better Business Bureau. It was very misleading and sad tolose one of our favorite restaurants. Read more

We used to go to Chin-Wah pretty regularly but it no longer meets our needs. We live all the way across the valley so it was a... great lunch or dinner date, kind of a special occasion, for us when we could dine in. Now that they are takeout only, we don'twant to spend 30 minutes in the car before we get a chance to eat the food so we have stopped going. We've had to explore andfind a couple of other Chinese restaurants to scratch that itch. Read more

Warning!!!! Long term customers and new customers, read the reviews. This place is not what it used to be. Their price was worth... it for how delicious their meals. Now they simply charge way to much for mediocre food at best. Hopefully they can turn thingsaround, but until then we will not be back. Read more

Sadly we will be finding a new Chinese restaurant. We've been long term customers here and have found the most recent reviews to... be very accurate about the change in quality of food. I attempted to reach out to the restaurant to see what might be going onand certainly will not be returning based on that conversation alone. Best of luck. Might as well go to panda and save $30. Don't pay attention to any of the prices on the internet. Ordered but refused order, (2 individual dinners that had prices of... around $8.00 each on allmenu site) was almost $31. Woman very rude to us, said they don't have a website. They do have one thatshows business hours. Told us to never come back for refusing to pay for overpriced meals. We are very sad to lose a restaurantthat we have gone to for close to 30 years. Read more

BEWARE OF BIG PRICE INCREASES & Poor Quality! I haven't been to CHIN WAH in a while but I was extremely disappointed today.... Beware the employees claim the website on Google is not their website, that a third party put it up, that day they do not havea webpage, even though it is chinwag restaurant. Com, so do not look at their menu or anything else. They increased their pricesdramatically the only menu I could find online with prices showed each of the dinners at $8.00 ish but each meal is actuallycloser to $15 each. The quality is also much much less than it used to be. I used to go to this place at least 1x month, but thePhoenix chicken was no longer great, the spring rolls were mushy inside, and their sweet & sour tasted very off. One of themeals spilled sauce and dropped from the bag into the car. When I called just to ask about what I had been charged, the personanswering the phone said 'well, people have to call to ask the prices before they order.' Really? If you do take out and youknow your prices are not online, or are posted incorrectly at the Google site, tell your customers! It is very shady tointentionally mislead your customers! Read more
