Where to begin! The venue is gorgeous with water views, the staff was kind, friendly, engaging, helpful and seem to truly enjoy... their work. The food was UNREAL! So good!! The mixed grill is a massive amount of food even for 2 and I?ve never tasted more delicious sides from any other bbq... place. The fries are so fresh and cornbread is soft and sweet! Maybe the best beef brisket of all time. Some of us weren?t hungry, but when we took that first bite of our brisket sandwiches... it was so sublime that we finished and finished rapidly. Cornbread great as well as macaroni and cheese and grilled pineapple.Meat was flavorful with an amazing texture. We live in DC area but might go up to Mass soon just to have those sandwiches. We ordered the beef poutine, the Big Lebowski pulled pork sandwich, and the beef brisket with corn bread and macaroni and... cheese. The food was delectable, and the smoked barbecue was cooked to perfection. It was a bit windy outside, but theatmosphere was lovely. The picnic tables and the food bus made it fun to eat outdoors. We went this December for our very first time, because we?ve heard great comments about this place. It?s actually set up as a... cool little village! There are a few stations (mini huts) to order your preferred meal. The original colorful bus that Off theGrid started out with, is being used has their bar. One hut served Mexican food. One served Thai food (loved the dumplings) andanother (under a protective tent) served their famous barbecue pork & brisket sandwiches.
