Chicken was really good! Breading was really light and crispy. I hadn't had any Golden Skillet, probably since the 90's.
Average Restuarant but it needs to he remodeled or something the place is not up to health code standards in my opinion.
This was not my favorite. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. However, the fries and chicken nuggets were... undercooked. The fried fish sandwich was over fried. It?s just wasn?t very good at all. Read more

Bought 50 wingettes for $47.30. The wingettes were so small. They were not worth the money. Would not recommend getting... wingettes from there. Read more
I stopped here thinking I could get some good tenders from a CHICKEN SPOT. Now yall when I got home & opened the box I looked at... the tenders & burst out laughing the tenders looked like the same tenders I use to get in grade school. I ate one & I got hollowspots within the tender just as I did in school smh. I paid $10 and some change including tax for 4 tenders fries & a drink. Golden skillet has the best chicken. However I had an issue with how small the pieces were. Spoke to the cashier she said no... problem she went in the back spoke to the Cook and all I could hear was her saying I will not tell a paying customer that. I wasreally disappointed because I'm in this establishment at least twice a week. They went back and forth in disagreement for about10 minutes. I finally told the young lady never mind that I would just like a refund. I haven't been back since that incidenthappened. Customer service is very important especially when you're spending your hard-earned money. Stopped here for lunch about 11am , only person in the store, food chicken nuggets were raw in the middle and fries were fresh... out the fryer but still frozen. $16 for food that I had to throw away, and the ice machine added black debris in my drink after3 tries to fill my drink I gave up. Should have been I sign of what was to come. Would recommend this place to canabils andanyone on a raw food diet. Read more
