Delicious BBQ.... my favorite was the brisket fries! Staff gave excellent service and were very friendly. Inside has been... updated and is very clean and enjoyable, much different from others that had been in this location before. Still has bank vaultdoor from years ago and is all cleaned up and adds character. We will definitely be going back! Read more
I travel all over the country and this was some of the best I have ever eaten! I’m not a big fan of brisket, but it came... recommended and I can tell you it was awesome along with the chicken that was chopped up and mixed well with their homemade BBQsauce that needs to be bottled and sold! It was so good! The sides are made by their momma and she knows how to cook! I couldhave eaten a whole pan of the Mac & Chez!! Collard greens are out of season, so they are serving cabbage which was phenomenal!Great service too! Highly recommend this place! Read more

We got dinner here at Backwoodz BBQ this evening & let me tell you, this is some of the best food! They\'ve had a food truck at... local events, such as the Dorey Park Farmers Market, so some of y\'all may have had their cooking before! I got the burnt endsdinner with a roll & two sides. My boyfriend had the pulled pork plate with collards, a roll, & baked beans. I had baked beans,mac n cheese, & got an extra side of coleslaw. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the portions are great, everything tastedamazing! Noah & Oliver are two of the nicest men; I was so glad to meet them & I told them how happy I am to see them open theirbusiness & how I\'m looking forward to their success! Absolutely love this place located in my hometown! Had their burnt ends 2x, collards, Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw, and pork... sandwich. Was absolutely delicious!! Haven\'t had a good burnt ends in about a decade, and now I know where to go! Can\'t waitfor the bar to open in a couple of weeks!!! Highly recommend. The staff are wonderful and super welcoming. Ok some really good and some just ok. Plain paper straws, I get saving the planet thing but for me, I can’t stand these straws... personally. Cornbread was just ok and def not made, some pre made kinda stuff that was just heated up. Portion size could bebigger in my opinion vs other bbq places. Tib diner was only 3 ribs, same with chicken sandwich, expected more meat. Theflavoring was great for the ribs, sandwich, beans, and mac-n-cheese. Staff was super friendly and will def go back again.
