Definitely a GREAT family-owned business and wonderful food! The people in there treat you like family. Can't say enough about... the food portions and prices. Both my wife and I can only eat half our meals the first time, and save the rest for anothermeal! The fries are definitely unique and tasty! Not soggy at all. My friends & I were visiting Queen Creek from Tucson. Found this on Google and decided to try it. Oh my! We were so glad we did!... Excellent, friendly service. Delicious sandwiches and those double dipper fries were incredible. And of course we had to havethe scone desserts and they were yummy. Really loved it on many levels. The service was great, a really helpful guy. The food was great, these Skone sandwiches are... huge. And the nostalgia...being a native Arizonan, born and raised in Mesa, I remember these Golden Skone restaurants aroundthe East Valley in the 1970's. I lived some years in Utah, and there was a Sconecutter restaurant on State Street in Salt LakeCity that we would drive half way across the state on a Saturday night to get a scone there and these are very similar. Food is very subjective. I did not care for what I had (hamburger and bean). It really did not have a lot of flavor. The fries... were different and decent. Try the fry sauce. I gave a 4 because the service was quick and the staff was pleasant. For the foodalone I would be at a 3. Serving sizes are large so you won't go hungry. Read more
