Overall the restaurant was a really good experience. We ended up getting the largest meal option they had which serves 5 to 8... people. I was there with a family of five and we ended up having a good portion of it left over that we were able to take. Forsomeone who enjoys seafood it was great because it was a mix of lobster, crab, shrimp, muscles, and clams. The experience waspretty wonderful. We put on bibs and gloves had hammers and scissors and were able to dig into the food. As a surprise there wassausage and corn and potatoes that were extremely good. I expected the seafood to be good because of the other reviews I've readbut I was very surprised that besides that went with this dish were equally well done. I didn't get the sense that anything wascheapened out on or was overly expensive just because of the rarity of having seafood in Arizona which is always a good thing. As of the writing of this review we did have a bill that was over $300 for a family of five which isn't the most attainable mealfor a lot of families. I would say that if we had ordered the smaller meal that was associated with three to four people thatthey're wouldn't have been enough food and we would have left there hungry and or frustrated at how much we spent for everybodynot getting full. So it was very much a trade-off yet I do think that the cost was proportionate to the quality of the food. Read more

This was our first visit. We stopped in for lunch. We were greeted and seated immediately and our server was friendly and very... attentive throughout our lunch. Living on the east coast most of my life and having access to New Jersey shore seafoodrestaurants set my expectation for a similar food experience but that's not what we got. Yes, plenty of lunch items to choosefrom. Almost too many choices. My wife selected the fish and chips and I had the white fish poor boy. The food was, based on ourexperience, average, on a par with pub grub available most anywhere. I expected elevated food from a chain that specializes infish. The bread roll that my fish was served in fell apart. Just too weak for the task. Forks are not provided unless you ask.The idea is to eat your fish and chips with your hands. And my sandwich was served open style and when I asked how to eat itwithout a fork I was told to just pick it up and eat it like a sandwich. Not possible, for me at least. If it was meant to beeaten like a sandwich why was it served open face? But I tried. And as I said, it fell apart in my hands. Maybe the fish boil isthe way to go instead of what we ordered. But at $115 for a bag for two, I wasn't about to go there for lunch. Yes, the price ofseafood has skyrocketed. And the ingredients are expensive. I get that. The vibe is good. The place is clean, large, and thetables are spread out. Read more
