Reviews for Clementine's in San Ramon, CA
Friday we came here to grab few drinks and dinner. To start with we ordered fish and Cajun chips Coles Law The fish was not... crispy. It was dry, cold and tasteless. The fries were served without the cajun. And had to call the waiter multipletimes. Just an below average restaurant with tastelss food. We decided to skip dinner here. Poor Customer service. it?s astruggle to look for waiter, they don?t come to check if you need anything else. We were served by young waiter and he was inrush and doesn?t have good listening skills when it comes to ordering drinks. When we entered into the restaurant we got goodvibes with live music, thinking will be great evening But decided we are not coming back with low quality food and bad customerservice. Read more
'Hit or 'Miss?' Dinner: We just found this place, one Friday evening and gave it a whirl. First off, six p.m., table for two, no... wait on a Friday night. There was live blues that night too and they weren't horrible. It was enjoyable. We sat in the diningroom, but could hear the music from the bar area just fine. As for the food...read on. The first thing that I noticed were thepre-Brandon prices; so far so good. Then our waiter, Ethan, said they had crayfish etoufffee. He had me at crayfish. Now I amnot from the south, but I've spent several years down there working in the Gulf of Mexico, and Clementine's is no Black's OysterHouse in Abbeville, LA., but this is not a common dish out here on the left coast either so I was all in. We had this and thecatfish dinner and neither disappointed! Our appetizer was quite good as well. My wife doesn't particularly appreciate catfishlike I do, but this one she did. This is the only Clementine's I found out here and we found it to be a 'Hit.' The service wasquite good and the food served was very flavorful and true to the southern ways. It isn't the south, but for what it isClementine's is a hit for us! Thanks guys, we enjoyed our evening with y'all and even went back for breakfast which is anotherreview. Read more
Starting with the warm corn breads? it was a good experience? good service too! Shrimp Etouffee was great but the Jambalaya was... a bit bland? added a tiny bit of salt myself and it was tasty. The Jambalaya at Baci in Pleasanton is much better. Other disheswere nice. I heard their breakfast is nice but never been there during breakfast. May be next time. Either way, we will goback. Enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich and appetizers. Fried green tomatoes were delicious. Next time will get the Gumbo flight.
Was really happy with my breakfast! I got the California Benedict with no bacon and an avocado toast; I'm from the south and we... don't always get good avocados so I felt very spoiled. Service was really nice and I felt very comforted by the COVIDregulations here. Definitely would come back when I visit the area again especially since it was so close to the hotel. Read more
This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint! Fish is fresh, house macaroni is bomb, and the chicken wings...fire!! We... had bottomless mimosas and great service by Tyler! Well worth it. Look at the happy faces! Read more
Love this local restaurant/bar. Everyone from the owner, to the bar tenders and all of the staff is welcoming, friendly and... attentive. I love prime rib Wednesdays and Fridays. Great place to enjoy some live music on Fridays in the bar area also.!!! Read more
Very average food. Was hoping this place would be awesome but it was not. Service was friendly and the place was nice enough.... They just need to step it up in flavor and overall food quality. Read more
